I'm not fussed either way thinks its fine how it is. If someone leaves for a tourny and it don't get played then just let default panel know when they ask for info.

But happy to go with the majority on this if need be.

think its fine really, for example its first day of fixture and you play 3 frames and you told opponent you was joining tournament for first medal, then the opponent could tell us and claim the remaining 3 frames while theres 13 days to go.

best thing to do is tell default staff like davey said and they could lose points due to it normally. If it happens on a regular basis then a warning can be issued.

this way it keeps the points on the table and still punishment in place

I maybe on my own here but I think that killer should be ditched from the league, it is hard to try and get players from both teams online all the time and when it can't be done both teams lose out.

nah i feel killer should stay, i agree sometimes its hard (those who play pool will know) but i haven't seen a killer game go to defaults yet. if killer went to defaults regularly i may agree with you.

Killer is also the most fun out of all the modes as you have to work as a team, have a laugh etc which doesn't happen in other modes.

just my own opinion others may share different views

nah i love the killer.. we have no problems arranging them.. infact we played both our killer first.. finding it harder to get 1 player online to play normal games then 3 for killer....

you dont have to chase them about tho craig, any of your clan members can set it up.

Although it can be difficult to arrange, we haven't had to use the deadline day time so far, which means that all games have been arranged and played early.

i still want this to be a tournament about where carom and power are not included but im open to ideas.

when talking to seb earlier in season we agreed that the bonuses are too high right now it is the following...

Each frame won by a player scores a point. In addition one point is scored for each Half Century recorded and two points for each Century recorded. do people want that changed and if so what to?

Players who are no longer members of registered clans at any time will be automatically disqualified.

should this be before round one or throughout?

I didn't play in it but it seemed to run alright. I didn't join cos I thought 3 frames of each was too much.

I can't see any other way of doing the scoring system 1 point a frame 1 point a half and 2 points a cent seems fair to me.

I also think that if you are in a clan at the start of round one then u should stay in the tourny with or without a clan. Sometimes its not the players fault they have been dropped from a clan.

what you propose for frames?

problem with bonus is a weak player (e.g. me vs seb or dest) wouldn't stand a chance the idea is to promote attacking play BUT give the weaker players a chance too.

Not sure wot other options there are with frames 2 of each and 1 power but that's just as long as 3 of each and u want to keep power out. So might just have to stay 3 frames.

The scoring system might not suit some people but it also helps a lot of people cos if your a few points behind it gives you the hope of coming back if u make a couple of halfs or cents.

2 of each would be good.

my initial thought of bonuses was either eliminate them altogether (as it would feel like league is all about breaks) or make bonus for half and cent 1 point and either 1st person to get the half/cent can gain the bonus or only the breaker.

pool only the breaker can gain the bonus due to runout/golden break so here could be only the breaker can gain the bonus (2 halfs would still be 1 point and so would a cent)

Hmm I'm just thinking of when people get to far behind and if we use the system u just said then they won't want to play the rest of the games. Where as the one we have just used even if your 4 or 5 points behind with only orig to play then there is still a slight chance u can still win so all frames would be played.

yep but the event is optional anyway, for example if a novice played Seb, seb would most likely get 2-3 cents per type and like 18+-0 isn't a realistic score
