While we are discussing the Clan League, I want to bring up the Individuals and Players Championship.
We noticed that in parts (particularly the Players Championship) the interest goes down until the later stages of the competition.

Also an interesting question to Seb and the viewers. Last week i broke off in Arcade and landed in this situation. How would you go about this with the code of conduct rules?

I think there may be a tiny gap to hit the cushion with side and go up the table? This happens like once every blue moon so shouldn't be a problem really.

In real life arent you expected to play the white in the direction of a colour? Rather then in a direction which will benifit you

no real benefit, if you tap, opponent puts you back in, smash you lose the frame. i don't think the pushout would count here as their is no escape.

You should make an attempt to play the ball that is on without gaining an advantage from purposely doing something else. I would hit cushion with slight left spin.

I like the ideas guys, something needs changing to spice things up because at the moment it is just too boring tbh, also i will need to know if the maximum player thing is changing as most of you know im starting up a clan and need to know how many players i can recruit

Just wanted to say, I've been developing what I believe to be a really competitive format which I'm just putting finishes touches too.. I will hopefully reveal all tonight at some point when I'm on the laptop! It involves captain maintaining usage of the majority of clan members properly..

Basically, what i'm looking at is a 4 v 4 game but with a twist to it.. So, it works like this!!
Game - d&c vs allstarz
Each team has to pick 3 different sets of 4 players..
1 for Arc, Reg, Orig and Carom
Each type is played of 5 frames
Whoever wins 3 out of 4 wins that fixture and gets a point.. If its a draw then a power play-off is played between both the winners vs winners on each side chosen at random.. If both power games r won by one side, they win the fixture.. If not the winners from each team play in the final power play-off to decide the winner!!
Hope its been explained well and you lot understand what i mean..
What i hope is that each team doesn't just decide to ship out their best 4 players coz that will leave them vulnerable in the other 2 4 v 4 fixtures.. So, it comes down to using each player wisely and 12 different players get used at the same time!!
With 4 of them being subs if the teams do remain a max of 16 players..
There is a little catch to it, if any player loses their one on one fixture, they r eligible to sub in to any other fixture once only if the opponent has deactivate, offline or having trouble with time zones etc.
I do fear after speaking to a few that it may sound complicated so i'd love to hear your views.. Any questions, feel free to ask..

Well Imran, sounds interesting but tbh I dont like the idea to change the style completely.
But I like the idea of reducing the amount of players to produce more clans. For sure amount of matches in one fixture should be adapted then.
Additionally I would like to see the killer dropped coz in my opinion its hard to get the game played or modificated as scoring is not really fair.
If you have on killer expert playing in a team he always gets the win. If team A wins with only one player at the top but 3 players from team B following on the positions I would say team B is the better team but it's bet by 4-2 then. Maybe its better to give the winner 3 points, 2nd place 2 points and 3rd place 1 point while the rest gets nothing. Then you would have a 3-3 if team A is on 1st spot and team B following on 2 and 3. It would also lift the spirit of team play I guess.

i don't like it, its what system pool uses at the moment but if you play a 2 vs 1, theres not much point in playing as they cannot win but if we use system we have now the winner is guaranteed to get 4 points.

I think 3 killer games per fixture is a bit too much UNLESS the same people can play the games if they want. That way, they can be played in 2 sessions or even just 1. 2 points per game for the winner.

Get rid of killer is my vote! It might just be me, but it's more of a chore - find it increasingly hard to play our killer games unless we play at the default time.
Also, Imran you're format seems interesting but unnecessarily complicated. How would it work with 12 players in a fixture? Can see too many defaults and seeing as we are considering reducing the numbers. I do like the idea of a point for each game won instead of a point a frame though

I like that you get a point per frame as you get rewarded for big wins rather than 4-2 being worth the same as 6-0

I get that, But then again I like the idea of a point per game because the affect of the top players is nullified - at the moment one player could lift a team a space higher, think a point a frame would play in favour of stronger teams and focus on depth

True Seb plus most Snooker players are in Pool clans anyway.
