I don't know of any captain that asked me if it was ok to play more than 3 players at all, we just went with as clan members we could get online at that certain time

well they was suppose to ask.. why do u think we waited til deadline day so we didnt have to ask..lol

3.5 Killer
Any 3 players on the teamsheet can play in the killer game. The opposing clans will have to arrange a suitable time.
If the killer game has not been played by the last day, the game will automatically be played at 9pm GMT on the night of the deadline. Whoever is online and available at that time may play.

Although 3 vs 3 is the ideal format, only a minimum of 2 players from one clan and 1 player from the other need to be present to play the game (ex. 2 from All Starz and 1 from Black Ballers)

Never mentioned ya have to ask in the rules

According to this any team playing more than three players before the deadline is breaking the rules, needs to be rewritten. Says "any 3 players" doesn't say that you can use more even if you do agree.

It also doesn't say you need to ask for permission to use more than 3

It could be reworded. However, it was made clear on all threads before the season that you can always play with more people if you want.

Why would it? If you have 3 players on and the other team have 6, why would you start the game?? Have them pick 3. If they refuse to play with only 3, then you just don't play.
Would be silly to play 3v6.

Only on the last day do you have no choice.

If you leave in the rule about as many as you want playing on deadline day, then clans who know they have 5/6 on regularly at that time will just make no effort to play it till then. Why should they try when they will have a big advantage from waiting. If you want to cut down on deadline day games then I think that needs reconsidering...

i think it would be fun though, 4 V 4 or 5 v 5 although would take longer, but 4 V 4 is suitable if both agree to adding 1 more player in killer :D

seb is trying to make killer easier to set up and get played , not trying to make it much more difficult ,

i think 2 vs 2 in killer will be much easier to get played

maybe not vs the lad who posted before me tho , he makes things so complicated

I never said i wasn't for 2v2 killer or 3v3, i VERY SIMPLY stated that if we have 4 on each team on line, then why not do 4vs 4...would be more fun that way... obviously you don't like to have fun.

Pretty obvious, that the objective is to get killer done the simplest of ways...2 v 2 if necessary but 3 v 3 is standard. or 3 vs 2 if necessary, as "I" don't know if 2 V 2 is allowed yet.

Any amount from either team are allowed to play if both clans agree. You don't want to limit it to just Vices and Captains as as Seb said, some teams have certain players arranging the killer.

You can add other rules, but captains can always find a way to exploit the rules. We haven't really had any problems with this in the past, so why would we now?

What's so hard, confusing or wrong about that?
