when does the league start ?

I have heard on multiple occasions it will be starting around Aug 8th..pre-season.

i think thats not good as its summer holiday and some player went off to somewhere so maybe its better to move it to 2 or 3 weeks later

I know my co captain will be gone 8th to 15th

No time for the start of the league has been set. However, lots of people have already been going on vacation even in the last few weeks. I don't think we can wait for the start of the new season for 4 weeks, because clans tend to fold when nothing is going on.

We will take the usual week off and probably do preseason friendlies starting next Thursday-ish. Not sure yet. Potentially the week after.

Well iam on holiday then yes sniper but if they come out 8th, 15th or 1st, I will have 1st or 2nd week here to do mine..!

Not really, If we didn't use Pool rules they're wouldn't be any substitutions available in the clan league as that came from Pool from Season 2 i believe.

I have always respected the Pool leagues and if i see a rule i think is worth implementing i would mention it.

I am bored of the whole Pool vs Snooker League saga, Players on Pool don't listen to Snooker ideas (even if they are good ones) because of its origin. I don't want this site to suffer the same fate as Pool.

Tbh if it wasn't for the changes snooker league would be crap.
But I dont think it should change format every season nearly

It hasn't mate, changes i can recall:

Season 13: New Format Introduced
Season 10: Killer and Players Championship Introduced
Season 7: Golden Cue and Individual League Introduced
Season 6: Power and Plate Introduced
Season 2: Cup and Substitutions Introduced

Those are all i can think of at the moment

Not at all. During the first 13 days, both clans need to agree to the size. Only on deadline day, clans can use as many as they want.
So if people let it go to deadline day, they're gambling.
