What about adding to a League Fixture a Killer Game? So a League Fixture Consists all the game types. So in Theory....

Do it with Power Snooker scoring, so its 3 games
4 Man Killer
2 Members of Vikings Vs 2 Members of Anger Management

Try this out for PreSeason Friendlies. If a success then put into the Season. If a fail, drop.

^That's exactly what I meant in the description.

Each fixture would be:
2 arcade
2 regular
2 original
2 carom
1 power
1 killer (3v3, anyone can play, including players in the above games)

It sounds really tough to get people online, but in the pool trials, several games have been arranged within 1 day

i reckon another league like individual league for killer would be the best option.i_am_god run one a while back and it worked brill and was a great laugh

Captains would have to arrange a suitable time and agree on it. Then post that time on the threads. Then whoever is online at those times will play it.
But yes, I see how that could be an issue.

Do have to say though, in our trial game on pool, we had clearly stronger players on, but it was a tough game. Tactics in team killer are shockingly different to normal killer.

Probably the best idea yeah, can still scrap it after that.

but some clans have far more active members than others and i cant see it been fair going down on overall clan league table.

Here's an idea from pool.
They're currently trialling a team killer game to be included in their league. We (Snooker Squad) played this against another clan and it was great fun.
This might be something that could be included here as well.

I'm not saying I'm for this or against this- just want to put it out there to see what kind of a reception this gets.

The (possible) format:

The clan playing each other in the fixture will play one 3v3 killer game alongside all the usual games. Any player from either clan may play in the killer game, even if they're already in another game type as well.
So each fixture would be:
2 arcade
2 regular
2 original
2 carom
1 power
1 killer (anyone can play, even if in one of the above games)

Points could work like this:

1st place- 4 points
2nd place- 3 points
3rd place- 2 points
4th place- 1 point
5th and 6th place- 0 points

There are legitimate concerns about getting enough players online at the same time to arrange and play this, but we found it no trouble at all on pool in this trial. I'll be monitoring how all the other clans get on there.

I can guarantee it was fun to play and made for great banter!!

tho i think a yearly killer league to be added would be much better.

2 from each clan playing at a certain date/time every week?

Yer i like it. Cant see it been too much of a problem to arrange games 3 players from 1 clan is pretty easy to arrange a time. Apart from maybe FSE. Lol

Sounds like great fun but I think we should still trial it. Maybe do a fun ladder of just the killer for a season and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well in the actual ladder it could make things messy.

Doing it as a side thing is of little use. If it's not worth anything (league points), people are less motivated to play and some clans will just skip it completely.
We'll trial it in the preseason friendlies, see what happens. I'll also keep an eye on the trials on pool.

A way to possibly sort killer defaults.
If a killer game isn't played by the last day, the automatic game time will be deadline night, 8 pm (or 9 or whatever).
At that time, whoever is online can play.
As long as there are at least 2 vs 1 online, the game can go ahead.
If fewer are online, it goes to defaults according to the following table:

If it's 3 vs 0, the default is 6-0.
If it's 2 vs 0, the default is 4-0.
If it's 1 vs 0, the default is 2-0.
If it's 1 vs 1, the default is 2-2.
If it's 0 vs 0, the default is 0-0.

points system i posted on pool:

IF YOU WIN (and you have)

- 3 teammates = 6-0
- 2 teammates = 5-1
- 1 teammates = 4-2

IF YOU LOSE (and they have)

- 1 teammates = 2-4
- 2 teammates = 1-5
- 3 teammates = 0-6

only result i can't fit in is 3-3

this isn't official by all means but i think it works well with our formats
