I used to play carom on my 11" laptop. Not saying I was ever brilliant at carom but I was decent enough to compete with others on here. So I don't think screen size really matters all that much.

didn't know he uses a big screen? but saying hes best because of a big screen is untrue as damien (arguably the best player ever) got most of his orig maxes on a 15" monitor which is small, and destiny (maybe my pick for best player) got his on a 22" monitor which makes orig like Reg.
and theres Seb, not sure what size his monitor is but i don't think its 22". I've only tried 22" once in college library as i had no work to do and i struggled because of the size difference between my monitor and colleges.
all about personal preference
i use 42inch LG tv and can hit cents just the same using my 20inch pc monitor... its easy once you know how!
its called break building
I agree with jack_pot
ste is over rated yes im awful at funky snooker and im not saying im better then him but he is over rated and the fact that is screen he uses is massive, and thats why he's only the best at arcade.

You're right. Carom is a lot harder, and requires a lot more accuracy with shots.

yeah and carom has no pockets and arcade is easier on a big screen

What do you mean, easier in comparison to carom on a big screen?? If so that's not true. Screen size doesn't matter what so ever, regardless of the game type. I've hit cents on my 11" screen whilst having the funky window to the left, and windows messenger to the right. So in total, the size of my table was only around 5". If you play enough on any screen size, you'll eventually get used to it.

It's not a case of believing or not. It's a case of using common sense. In what way does having a big screen help you play better?? The angles on this game aren't accurate enough to make that much of a big difference, so if you're a couple of pixels further to the left than you would be on a smaller screen, it's not going to make any difference what so ever on the shot you play.. If an awful player suddenly bought themselves a 100" screen, they'll still be just as bad as they were on their previous 14" screen for example..
Yes, screen size might help slightly, but the difference in skill/play would be literally minuscule, and certainly not enough to determine whether or not you're a good or bad player.

all about personal preference, i bet if i had a 22" monitor i would be poor for first few days then when you practice enough on a consistent screen size 17" for me i think then it becomes easier

I play on a 22" monitor and to be honest it only makes the table bigger and the balls may be a tad bit bigger but that is the only real boost you get from it. I could hit cents and stuff when i played on my 15" laptop ages ago. Pool for example by best straight run was 65 and that was on the laptop, my best since playing on this monitor for over a year maybe is 52! Screen size means nothing and if you think it does and you think it will make you a better player then go waste your money on a big monitor but it wont make your game any better, make it worse as you need to get used to it though.
