This game can be divided into two parts: pre-adam's dump and post-adam's dump.
It was somewhat close in the first half, ending at 5-7; afterwards I went 1-6.

But once I'd reached 6 frames, I had already achieved moral victory, so the rest didn't matter

That was no dump! I was only gone about a minute, a litre of lemonade just caught up with me. I was playing the 12 game cross-legged, laptops and a full bladder are a bad combination.

It was very close to start with, both hit some decent runs, I got out to 5-2 ahead, then seb won three on the bounce to level it at 5-5. After that seb's shots that were clipping earlier started to just squeak past, and despite my runs dropping away (toilet pun not intended) my form improved and in most frames I was at 5 or more in either 1 or 2 visits. Was a pretty good standard throughout though, very few flukeys, I reckon 4 for me and 3 for seb in there which is pretty good in 19 frames.

yeah might be a case of saving for new computer in which case would keep me out a few months. I can browse though so could ask Jay or highest scorer from losers of round 1 saves a BYE then but up to you

The WCA has decided to look into a possible case of 'doping' against adam_147. Allegations surfaced shortly after his recent 2nd round match in the Carom World Championships and the 3rd seed stands accused taking performance enhancing drugs during a short break in the match. Adam was 7-5 up in what was a close game with unseeded player whocares8x8 before a short 'toilet' break was taken. Adam then returned to win 6 of the next 7 to progress through to the quarter-finals.

No action has been taken by the WCA as yet as they await the results of a urine sample taken after the match. It is believed that mich is to lead the investigation

While there is a certain amount of evidence that vodka does cause an improvement in carom results, I hardly think it's a banned substance?
