It's happened so many times now folks that I'm just too sick of it. Yes, you guessed it, the 'gg' or 'wp' when the frame is still in the balance has brought me to the decision to ignore everyone from now on including the good guys out there.

I've decided to play with a strip across the bottom of my monitor to prevent me seeing these messages which are pure and simply there to put you off your shot and apply more pressure.

I hope a lot of my future opponents see this and don't think I'm an ignorant person while playing the.

yup 80 players same as friends list, he could ignore all pms (he would have to clear friends list or they could pm, staff can regardless) but its not the same.

I just played a game there without the window in view. Much, much better. Just a shame you cannot compliment a good shot from your opponent.

don't know what you are implying but Seb is a robot, top lad and rarely chats (like destiny but chats a little more) so its no shame losing to them.

banana, damee, pirate_steve, arpeggi, sean147, chase475, brent (whoever he is now) probably a lot more but those are players i wouldn't feel ashamed losing too.

regarding 'gg' it used to put me off but now i take a few seconds to refocus and take the shot again (like real snooker when audience cough or something) but i have never seen real snooker players blame the fans ('gg' in funky terms).

I would play 5 sec games if it bothers you, you focus on the table that you don't see chat box

You've got your method for ignoring this bad sportmanship. I've now found mine. If this thread puts other players off from using this tactic to put opponents off their game, it has to be a good thing.

At the end of the day, you're just looking for somebody to say gl the start, ul if you are, ns and gg wp WHEN THE FRAME IS OVER.

putting 'gg' aside for a moment, if i said "Hi" would that put you off? damee once said you shouldn't let two letters affect your gameplay, if it does maybe you aren't a good player

Why would you say hi at the end of a frame lol?

i mean at any point during the game, like if i said 'ns' you would reply 'ty' but would nice shot put you off. I know 'gg' is meant to be said at the end but can't be used an excuse for losing.

Anyway, since I've started ignoring players, I've won 3 out of 3. That's how it must be unfortunately.

Think really they should make the friends/ignore limit, unlimited. I was 'guilty' of having a full ignore list once, just because I found, out of 10 say, 6 players were immature, rude or stupid, so I found it saved me any bother to ignore players before I started a game. Don't do it now - can't even be bothered to ignore players, just live with it.

I have no idea what this filter means but the card I'm using to block the messages is fine.
