Over on pool was where the poem thread started yrs ago and i really love it, loadsa memories there for me.....anyway..i was just nosing thru and i found this one id done hahaha i may copy some of the ones ive done over there in the past and paste them here.

Oh now that im here i'll have a go
Just cos i love this thread so
An theres a title thats been left
So its like doing a poem test

The title's about an old street lamp
God i love 'em they make me feel.....camp
I look at them like they are some hunk
But thats only when am really drunk

My legs wrapped around them oh come to me
And all in full veiw of the CCTV ! !
A hug and a kiss, a scratch on my thighs
That lampost is gawjuss in my tipsy eyes!

A Game of golf thats mini, forums with lots of threads
A site thats kept many a person, away from their beds
Fun, games and Gen chat where ppl can say hello
A thread placed on game shouts where all dedi's go
Tournys you can enter get your name placed on the list
Win or Lose by skill or Fluke play ur game with a twist
Friendly games or ranked ones each played the same
Choose to be a polite player remember its just a game
Whatever ur reason for visiting ur hooked as soon as you 'CLIK'

I can't seem to get my creative juices flowing at the moment

Well try harder man!

England think they're simply great,
In fact their banter is out of date,
They won't shut up about '66,
It really gets on us Scots wicks,
They plan the final before they kick a ball,
We all watch and laugh as they fall,
A fumbled save or a missed spot kick,
Sends them home with wounds to lick,
So crowd round the tele and point and stare,
And laugh at how badly England fare

When Scotland laugh at England's display,
All I can say is "Where are they?"
And "When was their World Cup victory?"
...England has one as you can see!

At last with a bit of help I can post this poem


Paula wants us all to write a poem
The words to put together, I don't know 'em
I would ask a friend to help write one so fine
But I know that the work wouldn't be mine

I'm not a born poet like PPPaula
Or whatever name you might call her
She makes it seem easy the words to rhyme
But she keeps me up well after my bedtime

So for now I leave the poems to you lot
And I'll go and play "Who's geeky or hot"
I'll go on other forums or practice my aims
My favourites are Gen Chat and Fun & Games
