Boring Section

A boring Section ?
not if you make a connection
with people who are friends
surely the fun never ends

So the G_man dedicates this poem
to anyone who might know 'im
particularly to all Gen Chatters
because they're all as mad as hatters

To my friends in Gen Chat
I will surely take off my hat

One i posted on Pool yesterday..

Was talking today with an old online mate
Clicked straight away convo flowed great
Reminded me of some fun days gone by
We met on funky was younger and shy
Back then we would laugh all day long
Fun in the garage and burst into song
Play pool and chat through the night
Confide in each other till morning light
A closeness was formed, ppl could see
The bond that we shared this lad and me
He posted on here and is a great poet
A true mate of mine i want him to know it
He has gained something that is a must
He's the person online with my 100% trust
He would be there whenever i was down
Gave me a smile thus stopping my frown
When he left Funky i was a bit sad
Didnt want to lose this fab online lad
I need'nt of worried cos he still knew
That our friendship it would stay true
Sometimes he'd return and share a tale
Then times id recieve a nice email
The same old lad one with a great smile
One of the best by a pure clear mile
So older and wiser i just want to say
Some mates are forever come what may
Over 4 years later we are still in touch
For that i want to thank him so much
I know you'll read this,ive asked you to
So this bit goes out especially for YOU
Today when talking just made me see
How much of an impact you made on me
People like you are so hard to find
Pleasent, genuine, thoughtful ,kind
Happy and smily, great thru and thru
I'm so happy i know someone like you

Anyone else got any poems??

Here's one I posted on Pool, seems appropriate to here now


Paula wants us all to write a poem
The words to put together, I don’t know ‘em
I would ask a friend to help write one so fine
But I know that the work wouldn’t be mine

I’m not a born poet like PPPaula
Or whatever name you might call her
She makes it seem easy the words to rhyme
But she keeps me up well after my bedtime

So for now I leave the poems to you lot
And I’ll go and play “Who’s geeky or hot”
I’ll go on other forums or practice my aims
My favourites are Gen Chat & Fun and Games

Well are you a Funky Snook
Please read my poem and have a look
Do you post in Gen Chat
In Fun & Games or this and that

Some people post all the time
For others it seems a crime
Post once a week or everyday
Or maybe just in the month of May

Some say to the forums you can get addicted
Maybe that’s why posts are restricted
While posting we have so much fun
And often don’t get enough work done

It doesn’t make you better the more you post
But it is a way to chat to the people you like the most
I love the forums and the people there
About each other’s feelings we really care

But that’s not always where the story ends
On Funky snooker we make good friends
Some meet up in real life for a beer and a chat
And become real life friends, well fancy that

So Funky Snooker is more than a game
You meet people whose thoughts are the same
On Funky there is always the feel
Of friendship whether virtual or real

This has slipped off of page one
surely this can't be done
this is only a short rhyme
at a very late time

So this poem it may not be good
But for my "Bros" out there in the "Hood"
This early morning only a short verse
I'm not sure that it could it ever be worse

So to my friends on the lash
who have spent all their cash
I'm sure it's not right
but I shall have to bid you good night

English and poems and stuff like that was my worse subject at school. Hated it. But will give it a go. Wont be as good as ones above.

Chalk up the cue,
Plenty of balls in my view.
Red, Black, Red, Black, Red,
Thats what the ref has said.
Its poetry in motion.
Wonderful creation.

Final red, black in.
Adds a little side spin.
Easy pot on yellow
The rest will follow.
Onto the green.
Never to be seen.
Swing around for the brown.
To see it go down.
Up forthe blue.
In the pocket it flew.
Pressure on the pink.
In before you blink.
Its all down to this.
Dont want to miss.
The final shot.
The final pot.
Rolls in the black.

but your lyrics come as no suprise
heard them all before
just jibberish and tounge ties
let dumb_duck work his magic speciality
Let me show u whats known as origionality

Its not really a poem but the lines all rhyme
i could write out a sonnet but i dont have the time
im not really great at thinking of what to say
so ill keep it short and sweet and wish you a good day
