The Sun/Heat

I love the sun and all that it brings
Flowers in bloom a bird that sings

The sky looking healthy clear and blue
The sun shining its rays on me and you

Kids are all playing out in the sun
Water balloon fights oh what fun

Adults are sat outside some pub
Having a glass, eating some grub

chimes ring out from ice cream vans
Park visits with grandads and nans

Lovers they stroll round hand in hand
Mums watchin babies play in the sand

Pretty sights all round wherever i go
Everyone tanned their faces a glow

Heat makes me happy amoungst other things (ooer)
Makes me wanna......NVM.... No Strings (oi oi Stell)

Theres only one thing that spoils my fun
When am in my glory loving the Sun

As i lay down ready to tan my curves
Wasp! Bee! ARGHH The Perves!

Tears streamed down her cheeks
Been building up over the weeks
She had been waiting all along
She knew it would all go wrong
She could feel it in her heart
She just knew they were to part
She knew this time was a test
Time had come she couldnt rest
Up all night teary eyes blinking
She sat there done all her thinking
Waiting for the next day to come
Knowing for her it would be glum
She knew she had to face it though
She had to be brave and just let go
A day she wouldnt forget by far
That day she sold her beloved car!

Oh my dear ipod i love it so
Always listening on the go
Everywhere it goes with me
It makes me smile so easily
A multitude of songs it holds
Some recent some are old
Mariah, Leona, Beyonce, Celine
Sing for me with voices supreme
2Pac, Kanye, Snoop and Diddy
Make me dance till im dizzy!
Slow or fast songs, happy or sad
Any music really makes me glad
When i go jogging its on my side
Clipped on tightly as i take each stride
Earphones in and i'll sing along
On Shuffle it plays whatever song
Create a playlist add a few more
Makes me wanna hit the dancefloor
This wonderful invention affordable cost
Without it id be unduly lost
You see it helps me tone my bod
Yes, i truly Love my ipod

RAIN and THOUGHTS

Another day and rain pours down
Look out the window with a frown
Let your mind just drift away
Thinking of a different day
You make think of a certain time
Maybe a day you when you were fine
Or your thoughts just may regret
A thing/reason you'd like to forget
Watching raindrops fall to the grass
And slowly rolling down the glass
Smell the dew of this summer rain
Been here before and am here again
Over to lay down upon my bed
Random thoughts run thru my head
I hear a bird sing a sweet tune
As im here alone in my bedroom
A Half hearted smile thinking back
Then a salty tear ive lost all track
So now as i try to heal my pain
I go back to look out at the rain
wipe the tear and give a small sigh
Back to watching rain from the sky

To cheer me up i was in a state
He told me i was his good mate
Id poured my heart out to this man
Said he'd be there when he can
He knew how much it meant to me
To send a poem only i could see
Its just a way we can converse
Can tell me things thru his verse
Thou it was meant to make me smile
I read it and cried for a lil while
He understands me i am sure
As he has been there times before
And people like him dont go away
In your heart they will always stay

MUM


My mum shouted upstairs loud and clear
"Get up Paula, your letter is here"
Got out of my bed nothings rushed
Cos unlike my mum i wasnt to fussed

"Hurry up girl, dont make me wait"
"Oh Ok! Mum dont get in a state"
Down i strolled took the letter off her
Opened it up under her worried glare

Dear Miss P.A ur results are through
Am afraid were going to have to see you
An appointment was made for a day
That doesnt require an overnight stay

Just a meeting of what next to do
Am not that worried nor feeling blue
My mums eyes are teary lookin at me
Maybe cos am an only child you see

"Mum dont worry, things will be okay"
Lets just see what they have to say
So now i hug her while on the settee
Say "hey lets go have a cup of tea"

I like my mum when shes actin all mad!
Like when she runs up the stairs after me
Dives on my bed like a big kid of three

Rags me hair and tells me she'll win
And makes me laff so much i give in
Tho she'll never read this my mum

Im being strong and so shud she be
Cos things will be fine just you wait and see.

He sat and he cried inwardley
Not wanting close people to see
Just what he was going through
He knew they were feeling it too
For so long he had held his tears
Thinking of others not showing fears
But he also had this self belief
A feeling there would be no grief
It was the others with negativity
Not once giving a thought for he
Until he cud be strong no more
And his tears tumbled to the floor
Amazed at this they sat and stared
For this Man they really cared
And only now they really knew
Just how much he'd been blue
So with support they held his hand
To him hospital was a foreign land
Stayed with him thoughtout the ordeal
Hugged him as his tears he didnt conceal
Home to rest and wait a few days
To see what the outcome says
But at least this Man no longer hides
His Tears, or Fears or nerves inside.
He's feeling strong Now ppl know
Just what way to treat him so
He feels no matter come wat may
With ppl he loves he will be ok.

Were all useless with poems

First tourney win

O funkysnooker, how do you do it?
So addictive, most never knew it
Your baize so green, your balls so bright
Members playing under that white shining light

The cue is seen in the split of a second
The red at the bottom of the pocket, he reckoned
Which ball next, the black or the blue?
Did someone just hear the scuff of a shoe?

That’s not possible, this isn’t real
The tension of the game, everyone can feel
Just six balls left, the tourneys his
Oh what a mistake that shot was shiz

This game, the decider just blown wide open
With this tension he is not copin’
His first tourney win he still hopes to achieve
Just six months ago most would not believe

That he could get this far, the final
Not like a regular tourney, wanting to listen to vinyl
Not a young member, one of the older
Increased skill made him bolder

Two balls left the black and the pink
He hopes to achieve this simple link
The pink is sunk the scores are tied
For so long his time was bide

The black remains, just one small shot
A tourney winner that won’t be forgot
An announcement made, three minutes remain
The stress of the shot causing physical pain
