I love the idea of killer, and think it would be very popular myself, could appeal to many.

Are you saying it would not be possible to incorporate original, arcade and killer all on the server... could be a big choice if not! Afterall, original is where it all started!

Although, killer would certainly give us a 'face-lift' as such.

Also - Could the golf multi-player system be introduced in order to achieve doubles (hypathetically)?

no i think u cud have arcade original and killer but not arcade original and 15 red arcade

killer is better than billiards in my opinion it would not be as boring but it might be too easy for virtuoso's and could go on for ever if everyone keeps potting the reds

Who ever brakes and doesn't pot get another go, if the breaker goes in off, he loses 2 lives.

If you brake and a ball doesn't go down you have another go.

You can pot any ball on the table, including black.

You have 3 lives.

and through out killer if you pot and go in off or miss the ball completely you lose two lives.


They are the pool rules we play in the pub. And have done for years.

i would choose kiler over billiards, however i think that it is still mainly a pool related game, and again not many stats to achieve.

I'm going to throw doubles games into the mix for what i'd like to see, it would be a sustainable snooker related game, with lots of statsand achievements to be had

Yeah, doubles's is perfect.

And i agree killer is more of a pool thing, as you can see with the rules above^^.

How about you throw killer on pool, and we have 15 ball arcade, normal arcade, original snooker, doubles, then you will keep us all happy

True say, I apologise if I'm being a hypocrite (in that I am disagreeing with what I previously said about billiards and stats), but I think killer is more of a 'fun' game, a lot like arcade was when first introduced, but there are stats, such as minimum loss of lives... complete clearances without losing lives, wins and losses obv etc. (meaning I'm trying to think of more! :P)

Also, if possible, instead of picking and choosing between doubles and killer, maybe incorporate them both into one, a multiplayer option rather than neccessity (similar to golf)...

Looking at the fast responses it seems killer would be more desirable and popular.

There's no programming limit to the number of games playable on funkysnooker, above I was suggesting a maximum of 2 standard snooker games, as the site should be focused. In addition there could also be a killer game. Possibly, later, a doubles game as well.

So we looking at "Killer Snooker" as a preferred new game ?

Take it there is no way of 15 ball arcade.

And yeah killer would be a great addition.

If you did add killer, what kind of rules would you use and how would it work?

Ah right, I see, I agree with you having only 2 standard snooker games.

I would also, personally, agree with original snooker to be replaced with the '15 red arcade', or decreasing the table size slightly, and increasing the ball diameter in comparison.

Although select users may disagree with this, I feel the original version of the game has somewhat decreased in popularity.

Going into this with an open-mind, maybe it's time for it to be toggled slightly to introduce a sightly more user-friendly version of original for those who find it very difficult to play due to screen sizes/resolution?

Thus achieving two or three popular, regular played games, rather than just arcade dominating original.
