What the hell ? Did you lot watch the same race ?
He drove like a melon. All through the race, if it wasn't for the silver lining of money which has bound to have passed through glocks pocket then hamilton would have lost the championship.

YES! i thought he'd blown it until he caught glock, but because it's hamilton, it was never going to be straight forward.

Drove the perfect race, couldn't take the chance of driving on dry tires and it turned out to be the perfect strategy, Glock had dry tires on a wet track which cost him when he went round the final turn, if Glock wanted to let Hamilton win, he wouldn't have taken the mither of over taking him.
Don't forget in the race prior to this, Kimi let Massa over take, and the F1 authorities (whatever their called) have done their best to deny him, but in the end class shows.
Was by far the best race I've ever seen, even if I have seen very few. Well done Lewis!!

Pfft! Anyway, Hamilton deserves the championship - he's been the most efficient driver of the year

Thank God for rain
Was funny seeing the ferrari team celebrating, then reality hits home. It is some achievement to win the championship in a maclaren when F1 ibasically the ferrari show.

i disagree zac, button is good, Honda just can't give him a car that can challange.
Hamilton won championship just, but should have won it before the last race IMO with all the decisions that went against him and for ferrari.
Sad to see Coulthard go out first corner of his last Grand Prix, was hoping he might make his way up to the commentary box lol.

I hate the way people say stuff like this.
How can you not want him racing for GB he has just won the championship for gods sake...and he may have got lucky in this race but have you even watched any of the other grand prix?
well done lewis! same again next year!

Pshhh typical reaction that, in any other country winning is all that matters, us in england and brittain however always hate the winner, why is that? If you don't like him fine, but in no way has he won due to pure luck.
As for Button he should have a better year next year, when honda focus their attentions to their new vehicle, but he still doesn't have a hope of winning.
If it wasn't for hamilton and his slightly contreversial persona, I wouldn't watch the sport, hardly watch it as it is, and I don't particularly like his attiude myself, but hes brittish and he won, so you have to respect him. It is the same for Andy Murray in tennis, he isn't as well liked as Tim Henmann was but Tim never won anything.

It was more justice than luck that Hamilton won. The decisions made by the stewards that have gone against him would have been what cost him this championship, it's not luck that won it. It's skill and determination, despite having just about everyone on the gridagainst him and the dubious decisions not going his way, he still managed to pull through and take the championship.

That race was clearly the best race of the F1 season i have been talking to some mates at school and some think that glock let him past! that is clearly not true Hamilton blew it for a second and then got it back

See I got to agree with your mates glock driving a great race suddenly he droped 15 seconds its all a farse, Everybody is so happy about him winning but it makes no difference the best driver in F1 currently did not win the Championship,
People will say stuff about this but I am as British as you can get I love the country I love everyhting about it the rain the unpredictable weather, like I hate Liverpool but I want them or any of the other English teams to win the Champions league becuase they are my country,
I just do not think Hamilton is a good enough driver to win the Championship and like I said before I wish he did not race for team GB we need a real sports person not somebody who complains he just won the Championship reports asked him a question and he started moaning 'I need a drink' thats a true hero, the guy who said he has had enough of being in the news papers then rang Top Gear to go on the show and be at the brit awards then he moved to another Country so he could invade our Tax he get £800,0000 per race and he doesnt want to pay tax thats not a hero thats why he is hated and that is why I will not support him throughout his time at F1!
All of us on here if you work pay tax I don't move away to avoid anything so everybody suddenly thinks it is right to do so well its not and should think about 'How british' Hamilton is being before you support him

I think we should be able to see onboard footage of glock's full last lap, by that, we should be able to see if he was generally struggling so badly with slicks on a wet track, or did in fact, slow down purposefully
either way, i still think Hamilton should have won the championship before Sunday becuase of all the stewards decisions that went against him and for massa. I'm talking about Belgium where Hamilton where hamilton lost 4 points and Massa gained 2. (what i consider 6 points in Massa's favour) and also bourdais' penalisation at Fiji for what was merely a racing incident involving himself and Massa, of which the penalty cost bourdais a couple points and gave Massa an extra point. This taken in mind, i think Lewis should of had around about or just over a 10 point lead going into the final race.
Having said that, if Massa hadn't over had an engine failure that cost him certain victory in Hungary, things could have been much different.
Also, am I the only one holding a slight grudge on Kubica? I know he has a right to unlap himself if he is faster but i think his "unlaping" and what I would call "interfering" was what might have helped contribute to Vettel getting past Hamilton. Just a suggestion.
As for your comment Si, i don't think Hamilton is the best driver in F1, Alonso is, but i consider Hamilton to be the best overtaker. hamilton is not the finished article by anymeans but fate couldn't rob him of a 2nd consecuetive Title
