well have the new layout as the default option.. the only problem i could see with this is if one user has old layout and the other user has the new layout.. might cause probs

why not just go back to old layout...basic is best! It dont feel like funkysnooker anymore to me..just a snooker table with too many added bits around it!

Well, that may take a little getting used to. All the information required about the state of the game is now at the top, before it was at the top and the bottom. Funkypool users felt the same way initially.

The quickest option to reclaim the table size can is to reduce the chat panel. As information that was there is now at the top it makes some sense. I was also thinking about suppressing the "FOUL" info while practicing.

Another option is to show the advert to the left of the game in vertical format. Would this work better for people? Do you have spare space to the left and right?

Why change something wen its not broke?

I personally dont like the layout at all, i would suggest if it is possible to provide the end user with a choice on the homepage before entering a game..

Select:
1) Updated version (14th aug) or..
2) Revert back to classic mode

At least that way both parties are satisfied.

OR simply remove the avatar pics and leave the names above the table only.

Since my new official nick name is Pimp killer as im known for _10 MAN KILLA_ games i seem to be getting a lot of negative feedback as a whole, in comparison to any positives views..

Few have told me that due to such changes/ update the table size has also reduced..
My personal opinion is that the size of the table should never be compromised in any case..

In regards to nicks suggestion on reducing the chat panel, as far as i am aware of majority of the players come to play snooker, thus chat panel is always at a minimum.

Lastly, i have no place for adverts in my heart!

If the table went back to normal size then the updates are good.

I, too, have noticed a decrease in table size. The balls on Arcade are no longer as large as they used to be, however are still round so can be hit accurately.

However, the balls on Original are no longer round, making it near impossible to hit them accurately without the use of zoom.

How many height pixels have been lost due to the update here on snooker? As I understand it, Pool only lost 3 pixels, a minimal loss.



That sounds like a good idea. I have plenty of space to both the left and the right of the table, I don't know if other people are the same.

Nick managed to get pool back to its original size, with no loss.... after a lot of feedback.

I believe we are at a current loss of 5 pixels, not an overly large amount, but as it seems, noticeable.

If Pool could be restored to its original size, couldn't the same changes that were made to the update over there be made over here?

hate the new table size especially as my laptop hasn't got a widescreen at all! plus the angles seem to be different as im missing easy ones.. which i honestly wouldn't miss usually.

i think there should be a killer button like the arcade snooker and snooker buttons so you can practice playing killer aswell as the other games?
