liverpool got chance, top with wins over man u and chelsea, just hope we don't do arsenal last season and slip away when it gets towards crunch time - even though theres still 3/4 of season to go lol

If Liverpool are going to win it, it will be this season, they look very good this season and there defence is hard to break down plus they have one of the best strickers in the world with torres but i still think chelsea will win it

Still unbeaten in the prem, was a very workmanlike performance, no thrills, and glad that "the wardrobe" hand balled it for no real reason, couldn't see any other way we would score.

Hull I beleive are 10 points infront when we beat arsenal and they loose to man utd thats going to put us 7 points behind they not to so great they just had a easy run psh!!!!!!!!!!

As i couldnt find a strem on justintv i listened to it on the radio, it sounded like a poor game but made up we got those 3 points, that was a must win gme after picking up a point against man utd.

Why all this anti-Hull eh? Beating Newcastle away, Tottenham away Arsenal away and West Brom away are difficult to do on their own patch. Yes I know Newcastle and Spurs are playing poor but to win away from home in the premiership is a notable achievement espeically considering we are unbeaten away so in that respect they aren't easy fixtures.. I'd like to see Stoke win away as much as we do. Now for the quality of both teams performances, you lot just rely on the human sling to give you a goal, route one stuff and just play long balls, at least we can actually play a bit of football and score goals of the months like Geovanni's at Arsenal. After this weekend we have played 3 out of the top 4 like yourselfs. You lost 2-0 at home to Chelsea aswell so are hardly better than us judging on last nights performance, I think your getting ahead of yourself thinking you can beat Arsenal just because you beat a Sunderland team who were awful and didn't start at all last night.

Don't get me wrong I like promoted teams to do well and respect the toughness and the traditional hard tackles that Stoke put in and the great atmosphere you guys create at the Britannia, but, your still going down. Beat someone in the top 4 and then you can spout off again.

Hull had a few lucky games bu they deserve wat they have got so far the problem nw with hull is that they play too much football they are gettin a little ahead of themselves bcoz come on u r goin to need that tigerish argressive route one to win u that match like hull last season !!

i dont see y everyone gives stoke trouble with all the 'route one' if we score down route one and the 'human sling' can get us the goals then y not play to them strengths y play a different style where u will lose

reaction: very shocked... being a liverpool fan i exprected liverpool to struggle.. seeing as they won against chelsea i thought they would draw to pompey.. like they did with man u and stoke.
i thought they would collapse under the pressure of pompey having a new manager

HOnestly hulls biggest achivment is beating Arsenal away nobody else will do that all season thats pretty much a guarantee, but your saying its Delaps throw in all of the time but its not no 5 out of 11 goals have came from it and he is a big asset but all he is doing is what Geovanni is doing, they just doing it in different ways.

Currently Stoke are favourites to go down but we wont because in January Coates is going to spend big and hopefully we can get a play maker in so we can atleast challenge big teams defence becuase like you said we are playing the long ball and also shooting from 30/40 yards out becuase we are finding it tough to break through, I would like to see Stoke and hull stay up when January comes we will see who we get and that will tell the season for us

Atm people don't have a problem with Stoke, but if they get a bit of success like bolton did, then they will get criticised for their style of play. There is no doubt without Delap and fuller stoke would becannon fodder, but if you took the best two players out of any team (other than chelsea) they would struggle.

We got what we deserved, even though we were very unlucky to lose.

We created an absolute ton of chances, enough to win 3 or 4 games, hit the post 3 times, and at that point i already knew the wheels were about to fall off.

Think Reina could have done better with both the goals as well.

I want a bug win against west brom next week, 1-0 won't suffice.

Im not gunna lie and say we were brilliant because we wernt, we gave away stupid balls, kept hitting long balls upfield which lazy yakubu didnt even attempt to catch but got to take the positives, Sahas 1st goal, another clean sheet and 1st win at home this season. Also Moyes tacktics where awful today, should never have took pienaar and fellaini off. But i will take them 3 points =] I was glad that Johnson got a good reception as he never gave less that 100 percent in a blue shirt, west ham and boro next, 6 points? not sure.

I cant believe moyes took off fellaini hes in my dream team and was gonna score. He hit the post but overall everton were the better team.

Stoke play well on Tuesday and deserved the 1-0 win – Saturday against Chelsea we were totally out classed 5-0

We can, and must do better than that.
