Ah yeah, should put a smile on any football fan who saw that match. The fact he managed to come back from that quite frankly shocking injury and play the way he did was outstanding.

N'Gog is a legend.

leave off

Vorinin was worse.

And we all have injuries, its how you cope with them

Like us, Torres has been out most of the season, and Gerrard has missed a fair amount.

But without the pair of them, we managed to beat utd. (so much for 2 man team!!)

Arsenal are good to watch, but whenthe going gets tough, they can't hack it. it's been like that since Viera left.

Ngog is terrible haha when the going gets tough, and you are without Fabregas and Adebayour of course we can't hack it. I'd love to see Liverpool go half the season without Torres and Gerrard.. who would you have left? Oh yeah Mr. Run Around in Circles Kuyt and Ngog and Voronin. Oh and Mr. Adaptable Babel. When we have a full strength side we are easily the most exciting team to watch. However we are dog at the moment due to our lack of depth in the side, as any team would be with the injury list we have.

Well Ngog is 19 and a reserve player and vorinin is on loan.

We have been without Gerrard and Torres (or not had both on the pitch) for alot of games this season, if Torrres stayed fit, i am sure we would be pushing the mancs.

Put it this way, we are 2nd, and Arsenal are 5th. I know which team I'd rather have

As for Ronaldo, he is a definite cheat, he seems to be even annoying the manc fans!!

Utd were lucky today, but title winning teams win when not playing well, Arsenal should take note

Also, no disrespect to Fabregas and Adebayour, but they aren't the type of players who can "hack it" when the going gets tough, nor should they be. You need a quality holding midfielder.

Mascherano
Carrick
Senna
Alonso

that sort of player.

Completely out playing them, but a deflected goal down.

Anfield once again wakes up ...

1-1!! Anfield has woken up now!

1-1 FT, that is that.

Madrid on Wednesday, must still be in it for the reurn leg at Anfield.

Rafa has been in the papers saying he is ready to quit, maybe, just maybe, it will be a blessing in disguise.

Nothing to joke about, seriously Mike! That tackle was outrages!! He is a very lucky boy to escape with just bruising!

The match was pretty boring to be honest, Arteta going off effected me and obviously effected the players and fans. Soon as he went off i knew we would fall to pieces just as it showed. He is the heart of the Everton midfield and will be sadly missed, he will be out for the season no doubt!

0-0 no one deserved to win, Jo had a shocker today! I hate the Newcastle fans so much WITH A PASSION!

They annoy me and so do the players and the whole club, for some reason :S.. i hope they get relegated and never come back up!

0-0 pfft.

As soon as Arteta went off we didnt create anything, we had 1 on target shot in the second half i think and that was a weak header from Jo who had a terrible game along with Castillo and felliani never done much when he came on.

I also hate Newcastle always have always will their fans anger me so much, they think there a big club but Everton are 10 times bigger than them, they only have a big fanbase because they are a one team city. Their fans boo and shout for everything and hopefully those who were booing Anichebe when he came back on will realise it was a horrific tackle which waranted a straight red although to be fair to Nolan he did apoligise at half time.

West Brom next and hopefully another 3 points on the way to europe COYB!

Fabregas can't hack it?? He was the reason this time last year we were top of the league. He is the player that our team is built around, a world class talent just like va va voom when he was with us. Can't agree with you more though about needing a holding player, the role Vieira and Gilberto filled for us in recent years.

Your soo fickle its untrue! why on earth you want him to go? just because you drew and lets have it right Liverpool didn't play badly its just that we defended well for a change, Every Liverpool fan in that stadium would of took 7pts behind united at this stage in the season in the summer without a doubt

Not the best game, we could maybe have got the win had Nolan not come out with something reckless like that. I must admit that when he first got red carded I had a bit shout, but from where I was sat it didn't look like there was much in it. I soon texted a couple of my mates and they told me what happened, so I didn't boo Anichebe, and there wasn't many that did to be honest.

I'm not really going to go in any depth about the whole big club thing, I've said it many times on here before. You're sort of putting yourself in the same bracket as the fans you apparently hate though, saying that Everton are 10 times bigger than us. Now unless Newcastle are the smallest of the small, does that mean you're saying Everton are a big club?

Obvcourse Everton are a big club!

Founder members of the football league
Fill the ground week in week out
constantly finish 5/6 in recent seasons and outside the 'big 4' we are certainly the biggest club there is

You say how you hate Newcastle fans because they go on saying that Newcastle are a big club (When, if you'd actually spoken to many Newcastle fans wouldn't be the case). Then come out with all that about why Everton.

Though to be honest, in context isn't any club in the Premier League a big club?
