That really isn't the case, you just bring that up when people disagree with you due to the dodgy things you say.

You sound like your jealous mate..
Anyway, we need to keep this on topic, otherwise it'll be capped!

I have some good banter with the_kop because he seems to have his own opinion and people always come on sucking up to him too because of his 'status' on the game

efc don't be daft, I don't follow what the mod says everybody does what they want, if tom came on saying 'we were here first we are better' i would retaliate in the same way, all a mod is, is somebody to help out but nobody thinks they are better they are just here to help, and if you don't agree with them they will not boot you or whatever just a discussion on a forum where your comments were wrong
Just you can't go and say 'Everton is bigger because it was a founder of the league'

You also can't go round saying that you hate Newcastle 'cause the fans say it's a big club then come out with all that
14:55 Sun 22 Feb 09 (GMT) [Link]
I didn't know it stopped. And it's better to be talking about football matters which is what this topic is here for than you saying all that rubbish about moderators and people being 'scared' to disagree

Tom no offense pal but your fans are so annoying! just the littlest things they do annoy me, as efc _4_eva mentioned in one of his posts they seem to demand what they want and if they don't get it they will do anything they can to get it across to the chairman, manager, player! Seriously i hate them so much with a really big PASSION!
I hope you lot go down then do worst than leeds! Then maybe conference? ANYWAYSSSSSSSSSS
You mention playing against 10 men we couldn't win? That got to me! We had Fellaini playing off a striker! Yes Fellaini! We had 5 key first team players missing and the biggest smack to the teeth all season was Mikel Arteta getting stretchered off, well i certainly was gutted wonder what his team mates we're like? The managers team talk effective? Overall it was a bad day for the blues. It's just Everton's luck really, on a decent cup run and our star player is out for the season! Typical!

Everton are a big club, but then again any Premiership team is, to be in the top flight of a nation's league system, when there are 1000s of other teams out there! Everton, however, are what I call '2nd tier' in the Prem. Without being to be derogatory you aren't quite there with the so called 'big-four' and unless Aston Villa finish in the top 4 I would call them 2nd tier as well. However this isn't an insult I only reckon Everton and Aston Villa would come into this category. I don't think Everton are as big as Chelsea because you simply don't have the results to show it. At the end of the day, we should let the football do the talking, as that is what is important.

For a club like Liverpool playing for penalties against us! For a club like Chelsea who we're happy with a point against us, played for a point even! Arsenal manager himself claimed Arsenal we're lucky with the point against us, he over over joyed with it.
Man utd, we played some good stuff and held them to a 1-1 draw, Sir Alex himself said "a lot of teams will struggle at this place" (Goodison)
We are a big club them facts shown above prove that.

Your soo fickle its untrue! why on earth you want him to go? just because you drew and lets have it right Liverpool didn't play badly its just that we defended well for a change, Every Liverpool fan in that stadium would of took 7pts behind united at this stage in the season in the summer without a doubt
Hence the blessing in disguise, or it would just be a blessing.
But, other than the 6 home draws against opposition we should have beaten, the way he left us with one striker, and all the fallings out behind the scenes, that is what really annoys me.
The whole lot of them are to blame, Hicks, Gilette, Parry, Moores and Rafa, between them they have made a mockery of "the liverpool way". Fergie must be laughing into his wine at how easily we handed them the title.
So, Rafa either signs the contract or he doesn't, if he goes it will anger some fans, and some of the spanish contingent might leave with him. But depending on who would come into replace him, it could be a blessing in disguise.
On this subject of Everton V Newcastle for the biggest club.. what is it that decides if you are or are not a bug club, sucess - everton shade on history.. fanbase Newcastle and income... who knows?

Rafa has been in the papers saying he is ready to quit, maybe, just maybe, it will be a blessing in disguise.

You are quite right, I thought (or presumed) Newcastle had the bigger fanbase, but it appears they do not.
efc_4_eva, what is my status?
I'm not a mod, admin or anything other than a member, nor do I want to be treated differently to anyone else. Which I don't think I am.

Everyone is entitled to one.
I do however need to back up Tom on Newcastle fans (I had a masive debate on them not being the greatest fans in the premiership a while ago) but the tackle did look inocuious (spelling there is shocking). On sky, the commentators weren't expecting anything other than a free kick, and until they shown it on replay, the commentators were totally shocked.
If you put Nolans reaction to being sent off with what looked like an inocious looking tackle, then no matter where in the country fans would be on the refs back. Be honest, when you 1st saw it did you think "OMG red card!!!"
If the Newcastle fans had seen it for what it was then they wouldn't have done it.
Like when Arteta was stretchered off Newcastle fans clapped him off. But when they seen Anichibie come running back on, they didn't know then A) How bad the tackle was, and B) How bad his injury was.
As for Nolan, am a little confused, he was livid with the red, yet aplogised later. Now that suggests to me it wasn't his idea to apologise, but somebody has had a word in his ear advising him to.
