Why should they be ashamed of themselves? Thats like saying everyone who lives in Liverpool should support the Kop or they are not true fans. Whether it's national or international circumstances, people can support whoever they want. As a neutral, i wanted Barca to win last night because i think a Man U/Barca final will be more entertaining. I want Barca to win the final because i feel they have played better in the tournament (excluding last night).

The CL is about the best club in europe, not the best country. We have the national Euro tournaments for that, besides man u is hardly an all english team is it.

In the final in 05 I was on hoiday in Majorca watching in a bar.

Guy behind me was a United fan (ok he was from Carnwall like... but still a United fan) anyways at 3-0 he was absolutely gutted and he went to the bar bought a Guiness, and said "3-3 by the time I finish this pint!" and he was absolutely right!

At pens he was a nervous wreck, and when we won it he went Berserk, crying and everything!

I remember thinking what a great bloke, this guy was.

The moral of this story is: great if thats how you want to watch football, love the English team at all costs no matter how much rivalry... but not everyone is like that and very few are, and that is mine, and others right. It's not having a screw loose, but having a different outlook on the game. Thats what makes it so great really.

When Liverpool won the champions league i was devastated but at the same timed "wowed" i couldn't believe the game i saw! Definitely one of the best to grace club football without a doubt. But the smiles on my mates faces and seeing how much they wanted that cup made me think what it meant to them. Believe it or not but i was at the parade outside anfields ground (top of my dads road) with my dad an a few lads, i was on the garage roof by burleigh road south (Lfc_lad should know that street and garage) and i was in touching distance of Gerrard and fellow professionals. I thought "I'm glad Liverpool won as this wouldn't of happened" It meant so much to my mates and parts of my family and to three quarters of Liverpool! So I'm not all that biased, i just think its ridiculous that your supporting the Spanish and your from ****ENGLAND**** born and bread English! Who cares who the best team is through out the tournament! Well am off into town now for a bev and end of debate because i know I'm right!

Am English born and bred, but what is Chelsea/United to me? A few English players here and there, but none of them mean anything to me unless they a wearing an England shirt.

But I'm a liverpool fan more than an England fan, and this is the same attitude with the players. Most don't turn up for friendlies, and when they do might as well not bother! When we get to tournies (if we get to tournies....!) we go out before the semis every time, but still they ALL take the WAGS with them.

I just think the chelsea - Barca game was a complete farce, and too be honest i dont blame Drogba for how he acted, he had the right to do so.
I wanted chelsea to win as i have always liked them for some reason plus if they won they would have to play the final 3 days b4 the fa cup final which could have resulted in tiredness, weakend team etc. the only reason liverpool fans hate chelsea is because they are good, and they have nocked them out of competitions and beat them on numerous occasions !? what other reason have they got?

Anyway... Spurs today not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination but i think we could come out of it with all 3 points and that is certainly what i will be looking for......I could have a final ticket!!! but not getting my hopes up till i get the confirmation lol COYB!!

just a few points on chelsea, their size and fanbase, and their history.

1.....Top tier of home stand virtually empty for arguably their biggest match of the season at home to barcelona!

2....FREE flags to try and create atmosphere

3....Cannot attract the worlds best players (only the greedy ie torres, robinho, ronaldo, gerrard to name but a few wouldn't sign)

4....1 referee has retired and 1 is in hiding due to threats made to them - did the referee score the goal that put them out - no - did he send of a barca player when chelsea were 1 - 0 up for another dive by a chelsea player - yes - conspiracy dont make me laugh.

5....players and supporters that are <not the nicest wording> and show no humility or respect to other players, their supporters (remember the hillborough memorial), or match officials....

thats why chelsea are hated - nothing to do with winning more premier leagues......
