He was one of Liverpools best players last season and is sturggling to get in the team this year. I dont quite understand why he hasnt been first choice quite frankly and Mike you cant honestly be happy about Liverpool forcing him out the back door.

One thing I have always said about Liverpool & its the complete & utter truth..

If a player plays for Liverpool, you escalate their talent and place them with the gods. You tell everyone they are the best players in the world and declare your insane love for them...

He is 28, lightweight and injury prone. (that isn't bitterness - am not an Everton fan) that is just the truth. He has good points, he has a huge engine, covered the most ground last season, good pass and move player and will chip in with goals. £12M is good money though - but we can't use it until January now.
