Just the ones I have heard so far for Liverpool but realistically I doubt they will come. Unless like every other player says when we sign them you have been a red since a child, why would you want to come to an under performing team? A team on the down at the minute.. who have had no Cup success for 6 years? We must not go for the obvious ones and get our hopes up chances are they won't come.

I've not heard rumours about M'Vila, but from what I've seen of him over here, he certainly seems a great prospect.
Not sure how well he would / could adapt to English football though ... that would depend very much in the coach.

Higuain seems to be moving on from Madrid. Destination unknown but Barnes thinks we should get him.

I heard a cheeky rumour last night...

we have virtually finished a deal to bring Samba to us for 10m, and we are looking at huntelaarr for around 12m I believe and looking to get Forlan on a 6 month loan deal with a view to a permanent deal at about 8m.

Obviously I am not the only one to have heard this as when I woke up today and checked twitter it was on there a few times

Can't see Bburn selling Samba until the end of the window, got so many defensive problems with injuries. Not unless they've told Kean he needs that money to re-invest.

Think carra has past it tbh, he has been slow this season when he has played and losing balls and just sloppy. maybe this season will be his last as a player but he should stay as a coach IMO.

His last game with Coates in the Carling Cup V Chelsea he was good. Not played since then.

We need a holding mid (I like Lassana Diarra from Madrid) and a finisher, maybe someone like Darren Bent.

IMO we should look for some players struggling to get into their first teams, see if we can get them back to form. The likes of Gignac, Barrios, Sahin, Forlan, Kaka, Krasic, Arshavin, Gourcuff, N'Zogbia, Afellay, perhaps even Ozil!

All could be going cheap, all with something to prove.

I've heard we're going for a loan deal for Forlan with option for Perm move.

Also heard we could be going for Ozil, and N'Zogbia.

There was rumours in the summer about Afellay and Pedro.

Just have to see what happens.
