After Newcastles signing of Cisse, rumours are that we're still in the look out for a CB. Apparently we have a couple of people on our list, however at the minute, nobody knows who.

People were firstly saying that we'd be buying Yohan Benalouane, but it looks as though nothing will come of that.
Another name being heard is Aly Cissokho, however this is probably an unlikely signing.
Possibly even Nedum Onuoha from Man City?

We're also thought to still be after Ravel Morrison from Man Utd, however our main focus must surely be on adding depth to our defence.

Cissokho is a left back/mid Onuoha would be a decent signing

Drogba is very much completing the season as a Chelsea player, according to all parties.

No discredit to Stoke, but Drogba is one of the best strikers in the world. I can honestly say he would be an asset to any team. He is uncontainable, a beast!

I'd take him on loan. He'll be on stupidly high wages, so probably wouldn't want him here permanently. Class defender though.. QPR are lucky to be getting him.

We only really need a CB as backup for Williamson/Collo. When Steven Taylor got injured, and Williamson was injured, we went quickly from having the best defence in the prem, to having a make shift defence with the worst player in the world, James Perch, along side Collo... And thus conceded stupid goals and didn't pick up wins against the likes of Norwich, Swansea & West Brom.

Texeira has played approx 7 matches for Groningen now....9 goals i guess. He is really a beast in the box.....always works his socks off. Not the fastest striker i know but very eager to score.
If LFC make a good bid he is yours....a pity a good striker again leaves (too early) then...although he is (not yet) prem leaugue level i think
