I think you're right... Anyway, this is all my fault, perhaps the rules should have been more clear, this would be difficult to achieve in half a page though, I did my best and this is not the actual World Cup it's just an idea to have some fun after all.

I apologize to both baff and dame, I have great respect for both of them and I'll ask them again for a last time to be part of this, I'm sure we'll find a solution, if not, I_am_God will choose either France or Portugal, Garethclin will play Italy by himself and we'll find another player to represent the country that is left.

I'll get some sleep now.

Thanks mate, I also think Dame should play, I agree that baff should have priority to represent France, but that would be the case earlier on, not now that the recruitment is over, so let's ask him for a last time, Dame will you be France mate so that I_am_God is Portugal and we have all 32 players and the tournament can start, if it's a ''yes'' World Cup kicks-off and I'll post Opening Day fixtures, if it's a ''no'' and I hope not, then could a really strong player please fill this last space.

Jaysoros looking at your group it will be a tough job to qualify mate, the journalists are asking if you think you can win this group against the likes of Heart_beat, Dgeneratio and Scrapper, the media all over England are quiestioning that, and can you cope with pressure? What's your views on this matter Mr. Capello.

The Funkysnooker Cup Express:

Funkysnooker World Cup is set to kick off and we caught up with Japan manager Mr. Arpeggi

" We need all the results we can get. We are striving to reach the quater-finals, but against tough opposition anything can happen."

In another Group England are ready to qualify

" There is no beating about the bush, we are here to win, the players know that, and are determined to get there."

Cameroon manager Paul ''Bak2Biscuits'' LeGuen was impressed by Arpeggi's comments on Japan's anticipations of reaching the quarter-finals and has expressed his certainty that Cameroon and Netherlands will be the two teams to qualify from Group E.

Meanwhile, in the group of death, Ivory Coast manager Vendetta has decided on a 4-5-1 formation in the crucial opening match against Portugal, with Didier Drogba ready to cause some real trouble to the Portuguese defence.

We have 31 players, we still need a player to represent France. We're waiting for Dame to reply, when France place is taken World Cup is starting immediately.

Okay, so let's start this with France place pending, I'll post the groups and matchday 1 fixtures below. May I wish good luck to all teams, let's enjoy good football / snooker and please promote fair play. Also, please respect your opponent's choice of game type, this is arranged according to FIFA World Rankings, which you can view at
http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/ranking/lastranking/gender=m/fullranking.html#confederation=0&rank=179

Also, could I ask the managers of Uruguay and South Korea to please be patient, we're waiting for France to reply and Fuzzy manager of Greece is experiencing some serious connection problems at the moment, I am sure Fuzzy will fix this soon so the game Greece v South Korea can take place.
