Today , 6pm the match Denmark against the Netherlands took place.

Morten Olsen, the coach of Denmark entered a offensive team in the 3-4-1-2 formation with these players:

Netherlands dominated the first halfs, with lots of ball possession, and with a lot of chances to make a goal. And in minute 35, Elia, the midfielder of Twente who was playing a fantastic first half, shot the ball in right below, without leaving a chance for the goal keeper.
The referee decided that it was the end of the first half, and the players went in. Denmark didn't believe in winning anymore, and came back outside with heads down. But the Dutch ones were sleeping, and Denmark was the better team in the first part of the second half with a few good chances. But The Netherlands woke up and came back. When they were ready to finish it, the defence made a fault and Grønkjær could go on a 1vs1 to the keeper. Without leaving the keeper a chance he shot the ball in the goal, and the 50 Denmark supporters who came to The Netherlands went crazy. 4 minutes later, the referee ended the game, the Denmark players and Morten Olsen were very happy with this result, and are ready to qualifie for the next round.

italy 1-1 paraguay

paraguay didnt touch the ball in the first half but made up for it with some good tactical play in the second half to nick a draw

the Italians hoping to retain the championship started off well, in most of possession and passing fantastically, Finally Luca Toni belting a shot into the bottom corner after 25 mins . Second Half the Italians started on the lower hand and on 81 mins Paraguay pulled level , despite Italy's efforts to get back into the lead the referee blew the full time whistle and it finished there.

The Italy manager Gareth Clinton managed to give us his opinion after the match

" well the 1st half we were on top big time and had chances to put this game away , but the second half its like all our Italian players saw a pizzeria and couldn't resist eating more than the bleeding mafia but thats life I just hope we improve our game in the next round in order to progress to the knockout stages"

I find it funny that all the matches in the world cup will end either 1-1 or 2-0.

ill just mention now before i forget i think suprisia has atleast started off by organising this torney very very well and i can actully see this getting completed so cheers and well done

Lol, you can always spice things up, for example if you win both frames, but with a century in one of them, you can always say you won the game 5-0 instead of 2-0, as it will still be 3 points... Or if it finishes a draw, but with great performances by both players you can say the score was 3-3 instead of 1-1...

Sacred_heart, It's a one frame extra-time, says so in first page and no nuclear weapons are allowed in this competition, cheers.

Also, may I remind you, in second round group winners will have game type choice over group runners-up irrespective of FIFA rankings.
