While it is obvious to me that decisions have already been made on this, it does seem you have all missed my point about seedings. But then as most of the posters here and GP, D&C or FSE it is hardly surprising.

My point wasn't that "shock" results were a bad thing, they are the great thing about cups, but that we should try to look at this from the point of view of the smaller clans. I am talking about clans who have good players, but lack the squad strength to tackle the 3 clans mentioned above.

To make an analogy, imagine what would happen if Chelsea (premier league runners up) entered the Europa Cup instead of the Champions League. They would annihilate all the small teams in it, ruining it as a competition. This is effectively what is happening by allowing the possibility that one of the big clans enters the plate.

At the moment there is not a lot for the clans at the bottom half of the table to play for. Without being patronising, they don't stand a chance in the league and they aren't strong enough to take a big clan out in the cup. All that is left is the plate, but if a big clan ends up there then they don't stand a chance in that either.

Obviously a 2 division set up would cure this but there aren't enough clans for that as far as I know, a 2 cup system like in European football has the same issue. Therefore the only solution I see is seedings, but people don't like it so it won't happen haha.

On the "wp gg" saga. While it is not a hard and fast rule, it is not difficult to wait for the end of the game to save arguments, so people ought to do it .

Back to your points Adam. The first round of the cup should be seeded with the losers (first round only) entering the Plate competition.

Also be careful what you wish for with the 2 leagues suggestion (newcomers)

seeded i liked for a while then i thought how we going to seed with new clans?

Plate is worded as 1st match losers.

If it was 1st round we might have say 9 clans..which would have a 1st round of 1 game in order to make 8 for the qaurters, this giving a 1 clan plate.

Are you sure your not playing in the league this season then?

2 divisions wont be in this time as so far only 7 clans has signed up, maybe next time "if" clans is on the rise.

end of season deadlines, me and seb had a talk and we have a rough idea on how long the deadline should be.

we are thinking of putting League + Cup together for final fixtures of the season, i know its 2-3 fixtures but thinking of a 3-4 week deadline for both, then NO excuses as to why they wasn't played unless its opponents fault entirely.
