bringing a discussion on the swap rule -

the rule currently is you cannot swap in same type unless its a timezone issue.

what im proposing is that we look at the reason why the captain wants to do this and how far in fixture it has been. defaults team could be the judge.

if its at start of fixture id say no unless timezone issue
near end of fixture id say yes to try and get games completed.

defaults team need to know if the swap is genuine (e.g. both inactive/timezone issue) if its obviously for more favourable fixture then answer will be no.

Well, since both captains have to agree anyway, no one can really get a more favourable fixture.

I think it's ok as it is now.
If people don't like each other (wasn't the case this time), they still have to play each other anyway!
Players should only be swapped if there is a time zone or availability issue (this was the case here).

I can work on phrasing if you like?

There are only 5 defaults this fixture.
If you look on the site, you will see loads of them. Check the logo on the left side to see which ones are not locked. Those are the only ones you need to comment on.

right you know the rule regarding account age, have to be 31 days old to play, does that count as a month in a 30 day month or is it still 31 days, for example if account was created on 17th september, would they have to wait till 17th or 18th to be able to play?

I made it 31 days, so it's the same for everyone. So yes, 31 days, meaning in your example they have to wait until the 18th.

ahh ok thanks because 1 of my players may just miss the next fixture because of it, but no worries

if you put them in on transfer window i think you can sub them in when eligible.

Defaults Team:

For power fixture, the full 6 points can be awarded in individual points.
So a result of 3-3 or 5-1 is still possible despite it being a power fixture. These are defaults, not the power game itself.

Right, this comes up roughly once every season..... :

We have neither of the cup semifinals decided at the end of the deadline (1 week). It's never nice to see cup fixtures decided by defaults. We have the option of extending the deadline into the transfer window, where there would usually not be any games.

Captains and vice-captains, please post here to say whether you are in favor or against an extension of the deadline.

I myself am in favor of extending the deadline, since no one would suffer a disadvantage and the fixtures could get decided on the table.

i would say yes but no longer than 3-4 days, week at most but with players changing in clans we would have to make sure previous names can still be subbed in etc.

Any transfers made would have no impact on the ongoing fixtures. Transfers take effect on Sunday night (Sept. 4th).
