Lol at 90%, because this lag shot only works 90% of the time when you're going 2nd! So half of time when you're going first it's just not on (Yes there is one which is full power going first but the success on that is a lot lower...)

The fact is, as far as this site is concerned the shot is legal. Period.

However, would the majority agree that a shot is playable which is ;

A : Successful more than 75% of the time for those who know it well.

B : Not a legal shot in the real life game our version is based upon.

When someone uses this lag...its unbeatable 90% of the time, period. You cannot dispute that. You can only use it when going 2nd...but everytime you go 2nd it works 90% of the time? So... "lol" all you like, im right.

1. Its actually a foul lag shot.
2. Its near enough unbeatable.
3. Whoever lags 2nd will most probally win.
4. It spoils the game.

I agree with you though, if its against the rules in the proper game then it should be here as well, and i think making it a foul would introduce a bit more skill into the game :).

I also tried it on a pool table where im staying and it didnt work . The break off shot did though .

Your also forgetting that the lag of shot doesn't work when your opponents lag of shot is on the same line, which is mostly all the time.

one thing i dont get about this whole deal, 1st you all said its against the rules and should be banned, now your saying its legal and it shouldnt be banned which is it?

People have complained about some sort of rule over different game types.

I have seen nearly every post that either nick, or another admin, mod, or user has replied with "The site is called "Funky" meaning that every rule is not as it should be." "It just makes the game a bit more fun". If it had every rule that normal snooker/pool had; Then the game wouldn't be really that fun anymore....

this lag has done the opposite, even the creator doesnt use this lag anymore, in my opinion its killed the fun of lagging because its perfect everytime, wheres the fun if your playing someone whos constantly going to be using this lag, no fun at all. if people started using the 1 cushion lag, or stick to their half then it would make carom more fun in my opinion.

Where does it say it shouldn't be banned? It's against the rules therefore, it should be classed as a illegal lag shot.

As of yet it's still legal and is allowed so there is no point saying "ohh so so does this lag and won". Nick knows how we feel about it. it's up to him to change it.
