Luis Suarez is a great footballer and Hernandez is a great goal scorer.

Like Kenny Dalglish was a great footballer and Ian Rush was the great scorer.

Room in football for both, preferably in the same team like Rush and KK, perhaps Carroll can be a bigger version of Rushie.

All I know is I wouldn't swap our Luis for any premier league player right now. Stunning footballer.

I wouldnt throw either of them out of my team!

Lets talk Centre Backs?

Huth one of the best in the prem at the moment?

I think Liverpool will put in a bit for him at the end of the season, he is unreal his strength his presence on the pitch is immense!

Ok now lets talk England!

Should Shawcross atleast have a chance... Not many English centre backs out there better than him..

Matty Ettherington as he plays at Stoke he is overlooked he is great and I don't care nearly every team in the prem would love to have him!

And finally Pennant? Should he be considerd if you watch Stoke it's all pennant ettherington nuthing inbetween and he aswell is as good as anybody else on his day!

Why must Stoke be overlooked when we have got talent they just need to be exposed!

si not being harsh to stoke here
if you put rafael (from man united) into a lesser team (as i said not on about stoke)
surely they would say the same about that player
as the players get improved they will be noticed but thats not good for your team as a fan yes i know he could bring big money but these players are unreplaceable they are the ones that give you hope
hope that post makes u happy im not trying to cause offence

Wouldn't mind Huth though it is important to remember he didn't do well at either Chelsea or Boro (I think) before he went to Stoke, and he wouldn't get the goals he does for you for us, but he has been great for you lot. Similar player is Chris Samba from Blackburn, a CB partnership of Huth and Samba would be formidable!

Similar thing with Pennant, not played well at Arsenal, Liverpool or Zagaroza (I think) but did well for Birmingham, can't see him getting a nod ahead of Lennon, Young, Walcott, A Johnson.

Ethrington I have always rated, and did well at WH before being sold to Stoke, now he is happy, and not gambling ;) he is doing well, worth a go in the England squad

As for Shawcross I think he is a bit rash in the tackle and needs to work on his decision making.

That Salif Diao looks a good player though, where did you get him from?

Liverpool up to 5th again. Incredible considering we were near the bottom of the table when Kenny took over, if only he had been given the job when he first applied!!

Our goal difference was something like - 12 when he took over and now we are only 2 goals behind City.

Ermmm Liverpool fan catchphrase alert

Next season is our year

Lol, I really find this sudden Liverpool optimism.

Kenny summed it up earlier, there's no pressure. As soon as he puts pen to paper, there's nowhere to run and things get a little tougher, scrap that - a lot tougher.

I don't think Liverpool will win the league next year or even come close. I can't seem them doing it for a long time if I'm honest.

What really worries me at the moment, is now City have pretty much established 4th spot and Champions League position, if you combine Champions League + 200k a week wages, that to me signals big trouble. I honestly think City will start to take over if they buy right.

I'm really quite worried for Chelsea, I have never had faith in Carlo Ancelotti, now he is supposidly staying. Zola is suppose to be coming in as a coach, will love that but as for players, I'm not so confident. Drogba has to stay, whatever anyone says he is one of the best players in the world. Malouda, Kalou, Ramieres, Zhirkov, Mikel are all okay but they are just squad players.

Anelka, Essien and Drogba are rumoured to be leaving, which I find stupid... 3 of our best players to leave along with Alex who is superb.

I don't know who is making the decisions at the Bridge but if its Carlo, he has to go. The game with Utd summed it up. A game we needed to win and we play Mikel and Essien. First time we have ever played two defensive midfielders in a must win game, a game where we need goals. Just to make more sense we play Kalou instead of our top goalscorer Anelka, who is Drogbas best partner!! Hah! Then we leave a 50million signing on the bench.

Its a fricking joke, how come someone be so stupid to make those decisions!? Completly idiotic. To set up defensivly and also let a goal in after 45 seconds pfft. He is a joker and a fraud, like all the big Italian managers, Lippi, Capello, Ancelotti... All frauds.

Neymar to Chelsea, exactly the type of player we need to install at Chelsea. Since the likes of Robben and Joe Cole have left we lack flair and dribbling ability on the wings. He would be our Suarez, Tevez, Messi, Ronaldo. Kalou doesn't quite cut the mustard...

It's kind of funny how not so long back you were telling Liverpool fans we were wrong to blame Rafa for our downfall because of the trophies he brought us, now you're doing the same with Ancelotti, he won the PremierLeague last year! The guy is a top class manager, top class and it really does amaze me that you think he's the one making the decisions at Chelsea, why do you think Mourinho left!?

waits for derry rant...

For some teams it doesnt matter who manages them theres always somebody telling them what to do.

Like Fergie controls what he does same as King Kenny and Coates has said numerious times it's Pulis's squad he does what he likes!

But at Chelsea I feel Ancelotti is just a front man somebody to point the finger at and somebody to accept the glory yes I think he picks the match team etc but I don't think he has got the freedom that you would expect.

Greedy Russians want it all

I've seen this pressure thing come up with Kenny from many non Liverpool fan boards, all of whom seem to forget that King Kenny is one of the very few managers to have won the premier league title... which he did so with Blackburn.

He has already player managed and managed Liverpool to league titles, and despite what SKY will tell you, Division 1 was a more competetive competition than the premier league is now.

I feel that the premier league is a very poor league this season, and I'm struggling to think of any players who would make it into a "World XI" on merit.

Lucas is a top player now, really developed into a top class holding mid, proud of the lad!!

Heard a rumour that a certain Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite (Kaka) will be playing for Chelsea next season.

My source, his mum on twitter saying they are moving to London.

Add in Ancelotti and I come up with that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh and Si, we have a director of football who has a say in the transfers of players, the rumour on the street is that Kenny hasn't signed a contract because he is unhappy with working under a director of football.

Just a rumour though, I don't believe it myself.

haha im actually in love with lucas now as soon as gerrard is gone he will step up to plate he is superb in controlling the midfield and brilliant when going forward benitez got the best out of him when he gave lucas more freedom its just a shame he did it too late.

now dalglish is here i hope he gets more chance and him and stevie work out some kind of arrangement between each other so one can go up while the other holds and vice versa

Lucas' stats this season (and last) are amazing. I think he will be voted our player of the season (though he now might be pipped by Suarez!)

Not got a bad word to say about him anymore, and the fact he is in Brazils starting XI every game speaks volumes.

Lucas for Captain when Gerrard and Carra retire!!

Well only last month did he sign a brand new sparkling contract ;)

Oh and on the Kaka thing to London, the translation was bad. Kaka and his mother are going to London in the Summer... to see a priest.
