Yeah a great player no doubt, but Messi has took footballing brilliance to another level, 51 goals and 25 assists in a season is unreal.

Ronaldo only has a mere 45 goals and 14 assists.

And Stoke yesterday what a Flop!

Kenwyne Jones once again missed another open goal.... It's madness when it's harder to miss than score what is going on

Messi is by far the best in the world. Ronaldo is good, but doesn't come close to matching Messi..

I'd also say that Rooney is better than Ronaldo.

Can't wait to see Adel Taarabt in the prem next season with QPR. Really exciting player.

That is unless they get found guilty over the whole Faurlin deal and get docked points.

Hope not though QPR look exciting, as do Norwhich.

I also think it would be good if Cardiff or Swansea went up too, would make me think that all the 3 promoted teams have an awesome chance of staying up then.

Anyone else I think would struggle but those 4 teams I think would be able to handle their own and at times play some really enjoyable football, going to be a great next couple of weeks football wise.

Leeds, I want the old dogs back in the prem.

They are possibly the team that deserve it the most, the best attendances in any league they are in it's unreal the fans deserve to have the sucess!

Have to consider team tactics. The only way to settle it is for Barca to sign Ronnie and play them together in an identical position

Didnt Ronnie score "a mere" 42 goals in England in one season, think it smashed all the English records. Messi has Villa, Xavi, Inniesta, Pedro, Bushquets up there with him....Ronnie has Ozil and Di Maria. With Kahdira, Alonse and Pepe holding lol. 45 goals is just as good as Messi's 51

Adel Taarabt looks alright, he is rather slow and I'm decided that the premiership defences will prove too much for him. What helps him is his eye for goal, 35 yards, 25 yards, shoot on sight and he has good ability from those distances, I dont even think he could outpace John Terry...and I could outpace Johnny boy .

I hope Swansea get it, but Cardiff are a really good side. Obviously Borini and Sinclair, to young lads that have come from Chelsea, Borini only on loan, but they have scored a bundle of goals between them. 30+ goals. Brilliant.

I would say if they all played their best every game then, Cardiff would of won the league, with Swansea and Norwich going up. QPR grinded it out, so fair play. Would be harsh to deduct points off them as well I feel.

Agree with Michilin man, very exciting few weeks!

Especially with Man United slipping up at the Emerites!! Chelsea 3 points behind with identical goal difference... the league is there for the taking, all we need to do is beat an unbeaten Manchester United at Old Trafford... Lol.

Lose top spot and their unbeaten home record in one go... Come on Chelsea, this is your chance lads. Dont worry about winning or blowing it, just play your best and give it everything <3

Leeds do not deserve to be in the Premier League as they simply havent been good enough. I understand your point though Simon because of the fans HOWEVER, Elland Road is a 40 thousand seater stadium and it is the 12th biggest ground in England, this is why they get the fan numbers mainly. But sure, if it was by fans alone, then Wigan would be in the Championship, they are one of the worst supported teams in the Prem, nobody turns up there and hopefully Forest will replace them ;)

Because.. NOTTINGHAM FOREST are in the Playoffs baby woohooo!!! Should be interesting playoff fixtures, and also depending what happens with QPR. So forest will more than likely be against Cardiff or Norwich... hopefully it will be Norwich as id like to see Cardiff in the Prem. Forest though, have never been in a Playoff Final.. im hoping this will change!!!! lol COME ON YOU REDS!!!

Very pleased Norwich got promoted today, they play some great football and Grant Holt is an absolute beast.

I think your right on Taarabt Derry, he is very slow, but i love seeing players who can beat a man and do the unexpected, though I can see Warnock losing patience with him if QPR struggle at any point in the season.

I hope Forest come up, forget Leeds, Forest are a proper English club and a powerhouse in Europe 2 European Cups in 79 and 80.

Would love to renew the old Liverpool V Forest clashes from the 70s and 80s.

Unfortunately Forest are gash away from the City Ground and I think that will cost them though. Think they will be promoted next season and that will probably serve them better in the long run.

Can't see anybody else than Swansea being promoted,
would love to see Scott Sinclair in the prem as well, see if he can run past proper defenders like he does in the championship.

Ronaldo is light years behind Messi!!!

I honestly dont think they can be compared. Form can come and go but we have reason to dislike Ronaldo as he played for United but with Messi we just love him really.

I prefer Ronaldo though now believe it or not. I think Ronnie puts more effort in, that is why he sulks and whinges and throws a paddy for not much of a reason. In pre-match warm up he missed a shot from 25 yards just wide of the post, and he was throwing his arms around and stamping his feet lol, I like that. I think Messi is more of a vital clog in the Barca team, whereas Ronnie is just vital.

I would deffinately say Messi is playing better, I also think his dribbling skills have increased, but whenever Messi has Played an English side (excluding Arsenal) that have strong defensive players he is never a problem as he is quite weak. Ronnie is big, strong and seems like he has grown up. He also has something about him? Like, if he walked into a room, all eyes on him, a lot like Jose Mourinho, But if Messi or Fergie, it would be less? If that makes sense.

I am looking forward to the final and seeing how Messi fairs against Rio and Vidic, but if I was Guadiola, I would deffinatly switch Messi to Left attacking wing as Rafeal is rather attacking and loves sticking a foot in. Will be sent off before half time.

Tonight - I want Schalke 2-0, then extra time and penalties, but United to win. So they tire for Sundays game with Chelsea and focus on CL final . Few injuires?

I agree to the fact that you can't compare Ronaldo and Messi.

They are 2 world-class players, in their own ways, and they are just too different to compare really...

I think Ronaldo has the better attributes, quicker, physically stronger - though easier to bring down, better in the air, and has a more powerful shot.

Messi has better dribbling and vision, and a more natural finisher, you get the feeling with Messi less is taken to chance whereas Ronaldo will whack the back of the ball and hope for the best a lot of the time.

Messi is incredibly difficult to tackle/foul/bring down cos of his 'low centre of gravity' which Tevez/Suarez/Hulk also possess.

Messi is also far less self centred and selfish than Ronaldo. Ronaldo has had double the shots of Messi this season, and only half the assists (consider that Messi has been the striker for Barca whereas Ronaldo a winger this should be the other way around)

Messi is the better player, though perhaps Ronaldos attributes give him the edge when playing premier league plodders and journeymen.

Messi got the better of Vidic and Rio in Rome in 09 so he could do it again easily.

Hope so anyhoo!
