As I said last week you cannot enjoy watching your team play Stoke.

What happened was Clattenberg had a bit of a mare and gave a penalty to Stoke when it should have been a free kick for Walters backing into Carra.

Then of course Stoke are no longer willing to play ball and the game as a contest is over.

It then became a question of could we score the goal with all of the ball whilst Stoke sat back and defended deep.

The answer was no, but we had the chances, we had the penalty claims, just nothing went our way.

You cannot fall behind against Stoke at home and expect to win to often, the odds are stacked in their favour because of how they set their side out, and how they amend the pitch. (Narrow playing area, long grass, huge run up for Rory and his throws etc...) but despite it all we played very decent football, but just didn't finish the sitters we were presented with. Think Stoke have only lost once at the Brit in a year, and we are yet to win there in the premiership.

Next game for us is another tough game - Spurs away I think. Back to the drawing board for Kenny and the lads.

I went the actual game and we all sat together saying how the ref only gave us 1 decision which happend to be the penatly!

We sat back? But on the 60th minute we took 2 midfielders off replaced 1 with a stricker and the other with an attacking midfielder yeah that's definatly sitting back!

Also what's so funny people moan at Stoke with the long ball and throw in but we subed Delap of, and if you watch the game yeah you had more chances but you played ALOT!!!! of longballs as some would say 'Just like Stoke'

A 1 on 1, missed you had like 6 shots in the space of 30 seconds missed them all just awful play, suarez missed a open goal funny thing is it was not even close to going in.

And once again the fans who 90% have proberbly never lived in Liverpool were awful heard their voices about 3 times in 90 minutes

I wasn't being mean about Stoke, I know Tony Pulis and King Kenny have a great respect for one another, Kenny was very complimetary of your team (because the guy has class, and so to has Pulis) but you were not good today.

Pulis also said you were poor, and was laughing with the reporter about all the decisions that went his way.

Si, if King Kenny offered you his hand mate, you'd shake it. He is one of the most respected men in football, any right thinking football fan has respect for Kenny. Even the Mancs respect him. (Just look at RedCafe)

As well as being a true legend on the pitch and in the dugout, he is also a true gentleman, whos charity work around Hillsborough (going to around 40 funerals) and Cancer (his wife nearly died of it) has been testiment to him as a man.

Drop Carragher, he is a liability. To old, to slow, to much of a liability.

The problem with Stoke yesterday is although they were not impressive they achieved what they had set out to do in my opinion which is what near enough every team do vs United Chelsea Liverpool etc... They got their goal and defended it, and to be fair defended it very well.

The penalty... Where to begin with this, probably should have been a free kick to us for backing in but Carra of all players knows that he can't drag someone down in the box which is clearly what he does as he has his hands round the fellas waist.

That is twice he has cost us goals so far this season, and now on to the subject of Skrtel, it is fascinating he doesn't give a lot of penalties away, watch him when we defend corners free kicks etc. The amount he drags the player tugs his shirt etc is unbelievable.

Think we should definately have had 1 penalty decision not overly sure on the other though.

But if we want to win the league it is games like this we can't afford to lose, as you said 8 times the shots 3 times the possession 5 misses in 30 seconds, and then an open goal missed by luis.

Think our attackers had an off day tbh, also think Hendo is rubbish should have been bled into the team instead of being thrown in at the deep end. As for Adam he now has to come to terms he is not the star of the team as he was at Blackpool and not everything goes through him as it did there. Once he has sorted that mentality he should come good.

Off the stoke subject and onto the in's and out's as previous mentioned

I agree when you say drop Carragher, yesterday he did seem abit sloppy and if you were playing another top4 team you proberbly would of being punished alot more from them as obviously the class in their teams are far greater than ours!

Also yesterday I was at a wedding then left there for the reception the bride kicked off that I was leaving for Stoke but was not to bad after I told her I got £100 on Stoke to win lol

And when you are constantly attacking yeah without a doubt you should of got atleast a draw it was definatly 1 sided football and Liverpool just could not score that 1 on 1 chace you had was absolutly unreal makes me think any other fixture any other day that's going in, and when Suarez missed that open goal towards the end all us Stokie's new it was going to be our day as the killerball was just missing from the Liverpool performance.

Adam wasn't playing brilliantly so we had little creativity unless we went out wide and when Carroll came on he seemd reluctant to challenge shawcross in the air

Stoke are a brilliant club, Most people in stoke support stoke, They attend games and get behind there team.
Have a fantastic manager who gets his team to play football in a way the premier league big boys don't like, They have a good chairman who supplies there manager with funds.
I watched the FA cup semi final last year and there is more to stoke than Hoothing it up to the big guy.

You are not in europe this season or not won the league for 20 odd year, I bet they have not won the league in your lifetime. Its got daft liverpool fans going back to the past every time they lose or some other club wins a trophy.

No its not that; You lost a game yesterday you are both wanting half the squad dropped or time for them to retire. Just find it rather annoying as its been the international week, the seasons just a few week in liverpool lose there first game and its chaos at the Kop.

I didn't ay anything about dropping anyone I'm just frustrated that the referee kind of did us over with penalty decisions.

No doubt about Stoke's one i thought it was a pen. But we should have got a penalty when Etherington took out Skrtel and possibly when Upson handballed it but i thought that may have been ball to hand.

Maybe Carra does need to be dropped for one or two games just to give him a wake up call. But either way I'm not bothered as long as he doesn't cost us goals again.
