Stoke for top 8

You 2 really have high hopes after the first five games.

Sunderland were like, top 5 after about 7 games last season, we were talking about Europe after results like 3-0 against chelsea and absolutely battering man utd at home but only coming away with a draw. But then what happened to us? We went on a horror streak, what's to say that won't happen to stoke or newcastle? Stoke could definitely finish top 8 but newcastle will never finish top 7.

I think our problem is eventually we will be burnt out, to much in 1 season and that's when the problem begins because do you slack in Europe the League, FA Cup Carling Cup

And in all fairness the most important 1 in that list is the League as that's what is it all about!

But already i'm thinking of January window same as Pulis thinking more players we need a bigger squad we want to be able to make as sub so the player coming on is as strong as the 1 going of the pitch

Why do you believe Stoke will finish above Newcastle? We finished above Stoke last season, and could of finished above a few other teams if it wasn't for letting a goal slip in the last minute of our last game.

We've got some excellent new players in. Ben Arfa will be the main man when he's back. Did you see him against Everton? He was running circles around their midfield... Our defense is stronger than ever this season, specially with our new signing Davide Santon who has been praised by Jose Mourinho himself... We have a completely different team this season.

Stokes first expierince of playing away in Europe on a thursday then a premier league game on a sunday. It might takes it toll.
That is why i said which 2good quickly dismissed, It should not bother stoke fans if they get KO out of the FA and carling cup early, I don't think they have the squad to compete in all FOUR competions this year.

Sadly Forest lost yesterday against the Dirty Derby! Playing very very poorly, great firepower for the Reds but just not creating any chances best chances Forest had were from Lynch and Chambers, 2 defenders, but im sure it will come good in time, just gotta be patient and let Super Steve work his magic Always a belting game Forest/Derby

Great start from Sunderland This is more of the sort of football I expect from them.

However I don't think it's because we've played amazingly, just Stoke haven't and we've punished them for their mistakes. Still don't think the game is over though, can never expect Sunderland to stroll through a game, it's always typical of them to make it difficult for themselves but one more goal and that's it.

Chelsea have played decent, but they've had fairly easy chances and haven't done anything with them. You can't play like that against Man Utd as you'll just get punished for it.
