The final score 3-1

Possibly the best game I have seen in a very long time was out standing

Chelsea missed 2 open goals
United Hit the bar the post a Penalty and berba missed the open goal at the end

So even though chelsea had more shots they were the main chances there

Nani is outstanding what a player he was unreal on the ball today, Young also can't fault his preformance same with Rooney after today it makes you think how does Fergie get a team like this!

And on the other side Torres play amazing he had 1 bad shot which coinsidently was the open goal he missed, but he play a great game of football was just unlucky

Over all 10/10 for a Netural what's funny if they put everything away would of ended up like 8-8 draw haha

Amazing

----

Also save this little space for Stoke

What can I say shocking, I think Europe is taking that little bit out of us now, and this midweek we got Tottenham followed by Man United on the weekend followed by Europe midweek think it's going get worse not better

But come on you potters

Well played Sunderland

Why do chelsea play fat frank?

Keeper

Defense

Ramieres modric mereles

Anelkia

Malta Torress

Once they get modric that should be there team.

I thought Torres was good today and looked like the old fernado of 2007-2009.

Man ure will walk the league this year to much cover all over the pitch.

What about Drogba, one of the best strikers in the world.

His days haven't gone yet!

This is why Pulis is a top man!

'When asked on Sky Sports News, Tony Pulis said. When asked if our trip to Kiev had caused problem today he responded that 4 miners in south wales lost their lives this week and they were paid less in a year than the players get in a week and wouldnt make excuses at all.'

Shut up Emily go be inmature somewhere else!

He does not make excuses ever, and how can he be critised 1 loss 10 games, includin draw to Chelsea win over Liverpool

He is a great manager and a great guy and what he basically is saying, how can we complain about players being tired for having to many games in a week when people are dieing who work harder for less, so no there is no excuse!

People complain about to many games all the time even I do as I think it's to much 2 games a week espicially when our europe miles accumulate to 11,000 but basically when they are on between £10,000-£45,000 a week they should be able handle it!

---------------------------------------
Also to also note:

'Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has refused to blame their defeat to Sunderland on Sunday on their European commitment.'

First off our fans were boss today, at least they were up for it!

Well... never really got going did we? Being outplayed with 11 men, we managed to make the game scrappy with 10 men and we were walked over with 9 men.

Kenny.

Skrtel is a crap right back! Never again!

Charlie Adam walks about the pitch, to afraid to get hurt and puts in cowards tackles time and again, bench the lazy git, or change the formation. A 2 man central midfield with Adam in it is asking for trouble, cos it is basically 1 man when we don't have the ball - Lucas! While Adam stands about and watches. Worse than Meireles for doing that!

Henderson is doing nowt, play Bellamy, I want to see what he has left in his locker.

Carroll is playing like a steaming pile of turd, bin him off to the ressies for a while, play Kuyt and promote Adam Morgan from ressies to the bench.

Reina - Catch a ball lad. You're not De Gea, don't play like him.

Problems solved.

Can't believe Mani won MOTM for Spuds though, Modric bossed the game throughout, and scored a screamer.

Thank God Wire won on Friday, and of course that Torres was around to give me a good laugh after the game.WTF! was that! Lmao.

The match itself was a joy to watch, great end to end game had everything. Not sure what the ref and his linesmen were upto though, United had 2 offside goals, and then Cole snaps little pea and he gets booked but no penalty! Odd.

Bit cynical there LOL!

I think he was trying to get the message across to his players that they can not be blaming Europe on losing, and that people have it a lot tougher than a premier league footballer.

Not as if he is bottom of the league and pandering to the public.

Still, letting Titus Bramble score is not nice, speaking from bitter experience

Here's Pulis exact quote:

Let's get this sorted out straight away," Pulis blasted. "There's been a tragedy in Wales with the miners.

"Those poor souls were working very hard underground to look after their families. They would earn in one year what some of our players earn in a week.

"We live in a bubble in football.

"We travel first-class and spoil the players rotten, so you will get no excuses from Stoke City about the matches we are playing and the travelling we are doing.''

----------------

Every team every fan every player needs to agree with what was said!

He is a true manager and no he does not make excuses if we play bad he says how it is, He turned around and said 2 weeks ago Europe is as new to me as it is the players on the pitch it's not only a learning curve for them but it is for me, and we will make mistakes together but we will go through it together

He doesn't want to pretend he's perfect as he knows he's not!

And 2good, how do you think we felt first goal of a Corner we got the biggest team in the Prem how the heck do they score of a corner Freekick was shear class though absolutly outstanding

I haven't read anyones post about the game so they dont cloud my judgement.

Chelsea were harshly treated as always.

2 Offside goals.

1 Incredibly lucky goal with Nani messing up a back heel, a sliding chllange a deflection and it ending up with Rooney open goal 3 yards out.

1 Penalty that was plain ridiculos

Chelsea actually deserved to win and created the better chances. I say win because apart from the goals which on another day wouldnt exist, they created very little.

But at the end of the day, Chelsea aren't a team that get decisions. Unless we play Arsenal.

We had our chamces, with Ramieres, Torres being the most blatent chances.

On another day it could have EASILY been Chelsea winning 3-0.

I watched the game with a load of manks, and 3-1 up with 20 left on the clock they were bricking it. As Chelsea just dominated them.

Amazing how Torres scores a screamer then does... well we all know what he done.

I just hope Chelsea now realise they are just as good and were better on the day than Man Utd. I know we have had a slow shakey start but I always knew we just as good as United. They have 3 extra players than last season and lets face Chelsea gave away the title. Chelsea played the later half of the season with a Torres, as well.

Now we have Mata, Sturridge and a changed Torres?

Thats better than Young, Welbeck & Jones.

Essien to come back and Chelsea to relax. Thats the team to beat in the prem

To be fair, the offsides were very very close. When about one leg is offside, you can hardly blame the linesman. I've been a linesman too (obviously not this high a level) and there's just no way you can see that accurately.

The penalty that was given may have been soft, but then look at the Ashley Cole red/penalty that wasn't given. Wasn't all one-sided.

Of course Chelsea were bossing it when the score was 3-0 and 3-1, they were the ones behind! Both sides created enough to score 5 or 6 goals on any given day. The game was close, but I wouldn't say Chelsea deserved to win.

I do appreciate that it was slightly offside but hes offside or he isnt.

I just no that if it was the other way around Man Utd would be going mental. Fergie would be shaming the officials, telling the media they were pathetic.

I mean, if Ramieres had netted then it would of been 1-0 to Chelsea. It was an oppitunity he should never miss and arguably if Smalling's was called offside... how many times do you see the big turn around in football... IE United could of been 1-0 if it wasnt for a great lino spot but now Chelsea are.

The second goal is a mega kick in the face, offside but then a great finish.

The third goal ends the game and the way in which it came about is also heartbreaking.

Torres nets and nobody can fault that goal for United. Chelsea just burst out the blocks and blew United away.

Then Nani hits the bar, but it wasn't a clear cut chance. It was an individual run that then had 2 defenders and a keeper to beat. I dont think that was ever a pen.

Then Torres missing...

Makes a completely different game and puts it in Chelseas favour had 'any' of those decisions gone Chelsea's way.

The tackle by A.Cole, was a silly challange but I honestly dont think its a penalty. Not one Man U fan in the pub appealed for the pen when replays were showing. Chici had his shot and it went wide.

Im not being cynical, I am not angry. I just think Chelsea were the better team. And took loads of positives from it.

I don't know why Cole's foul wouldn't be a penalty.
It was a late challenge on the player and a clear foul in the box. You can even say the advantage (if we argue that the referee allowed advantage) didn't materialize and he can still give it then.

I agree that the goals were offside, but I don't think it's fair to attack the referee or the linesman over those. It's incredibly difficult, if not impossible to see.

It wasnt a penalty because when the foul was made the ball was out of play. Apparently this means that no penalty or free kick can be given. I thought it was a penalty as well tbh until i heard this rule

Chelsea needed a good holding midfielder, instead they had Raul walking about the pitch as usual. Watch the Nani goal again, Raul just lets him run past, then watch the penalty again, Raul does exactly the same.

The lad is not interested in any side of the game other than with the ball.

Very much like Charlie Adam, very much luxaries neither Liverpool or Chelsea can afford. Hope Stevie is playing tomorrow against Brighton. Needs some minutes under his belt for the game against Wolves on the weekend, which then leads into United and Everton.

So if the balls out of play, and a player punches someone in the face in the box, it wouldn't be a penalty?
