I don't look at stats to be honest, I just rate players on what I've seen from them. Maybe it's just a coincidence that every time I've seen him play he's been pretty poor.

With Messi, apart from a couple of world cup games, every time I've watched him he has been outstanding... Literally magical on the ball.

lol yeah, you must've gotten unlucky. Maybe watch Real's league games- he's scored more than a goal per game over the last 3 seasons there.

First game Ronaldo played for United was against Stoke at the Brit in a Friendly where they lost 3-1 I believe (Correct me if i'm wrong) but I was at that game

And he was dog poo that day did nothing and Dieago Forlan scored an absolute screamer was unreal!

But then after he was settled I have seen him play both at the Brith and Old Trafford and he's really good to watch he can pull things off that you would never expect from a player but he always try to do to much the expression 'Taking on the world and his wife' sums him up... You have 9 other outfield players pass to them let them take some of the work load.

And Messi is unreal if you want a goal scorer get Ronaldo if you want a player to do everything else and bare in mind he's not goal shy and will give Ronaldo a run for his money every day of the week on a goal to goal basis then get Messi!

Stats are for League only we don't care about cups!!!!

Since ronaldo move to Madrid:

Apearances: 70
Goals : 73
Assists: 35

Messi stats over same period:

Appearances: 75
Goals: 75
Assists: 33

In all fairness they are both as good infront of goal as each other, some of the figures I had to get from uncertain sites but i'm sure they are near enough accurate

Lets all agree we wouldn't refuse either of them if they wanted to join our clubs

But it makes no different you think liverpool would refuse alot of player? No

You think Everton / Fulham / Wigan / QPR / Swansea want me name about 89 of the teams in the country that wouldn't say no.....

End of day we have got a decent squad played Man United/Liverpool/Chelsea Arsenal next week and we are 7th in the league to me that's a good place to be..

Doing alright in Europe aswell so it's not like we are desperate for a bigger squad!

You will see in January Stoke will get a few 'big names' in the club when you got a Chairman who wants to spend and a manager who loves the club and knows exactly what to look for in a player...

Pennant/Ettherington/Shawcross/Huth just 4 players I don't think many teams would refuse so much I think next season Shawcross is off to a top 4 team and then will finally get into the England squad!

Also Woodgate he's played at the best level? And he's keeping fit... Matty Upson not put a foot wrong yet

Begovic chelsea wanted to buy of us for 8mil???? At 22 he will be one of the best keepers around

You know if you go through the stoke squad with a fine toothpick you will realise we have got a half decent squad

And also Wilko celebrated 10 years at first team for Stoke last week saying 'I love Stoke it's got pride and loyal fans everybody knows how much this club means to me, If you cut me open I would bleed red and white' Also saying he will be here for the next 10

That's a true loyal player!!!!!

Stoke are on telly 3 times in the next 7 days and 4 times in the next 11

Europe Tonight
Arsenal Sunday - League
Liverpool Midweek - Cup
Newcastle on weekend - League

So plenty of you to watch the best game in the world being played by a team who oozes passion, a manger who loves the thrill to be on the pitch and a chairman who is Mr Stoke City himself

Also a rather intresting fact that I didn't know

The top 4 most viewed leagues in the world are:

Premiership
Bundesliga (German)
La Liga (Spanish)
The Championship

Now personally I would of thought Spain before Germany and who would of though the Championship in 4th we do host the greatest football in the world

No don't sign it!

For the simple reason I think there will be some stuff that you all want not to read to be honest...

What's the name of the guy you all love to hate as he wrote some stuff in a paper you all claimed to be 'Lies' what if they were actually true? Would you all go out and buy 1,000 copys of the sun to make up lost time from not owning 1?

Woah, WTF! It was lies, he admitted it was lies. The S*n know it was lies. The world knows it was lies.

Liverpool fans did not pick the pockets of families, did not urinate on the police or their own fans corpses.

The stats of last season were in favour of Ronaldo over Messi. Last season I defended Ronaldo as the best player in the world, for the simple fact that if Messi was to join a lower team, he wouldnt make much impact.

If Messi plays for Argentina, he is very poor. Doesnt get the ball, doesnt go on many dribbles, doesnt score goals. He doesnt like players like Aguero, Tevez and other players like that.

But if you put Ronaldo upfront for Leeds United, they will get promoted.

Thats the difference.

Messi will not lead the line, Ronaldo will.

If you took Xavi, Iniesta out of Barca, you would see a significent deterioration in Messi.

If Messi joined Leeds, he would look silly. He wouldnt get the passes he wants, he would have nobody to play accute and intricate passes with. So not that he depends on them, because Messi can out dribble any person on the planet.

But Ronaldo fits in anywhere. He has staggering pace and acceleration and being over 6foot tall, that is impressive. He is dynamic and very strong.

Since he has been at Madrid, he has matured into a better player. He is a dad now, he cant be crying on the floor, rolling around diving. He is now a man and the only player you could ever compare Lionel Messi with, past or present.

But still, Messi is the greatest footballer ever due to his technical ability and capabilities.

Wouldnt you LOVE to see 10 Ronaldo's v 10 Messi's with ME in goal!? Ha

Ok that is abit far fetched but on the videos before it happens

there are thousands of Liverpool fans singing:

''Who's that dieing on the runway
Who's that dieing in the snow
It's Matt and the Busby Boys
Making all the F****** Noise
Because they can't get an Aeroplane to go''

They ask for respect for the 96... When they get hardly show any respect for what other teams have lost?

And, would they pickpocket of people? They proberbly have 1 of the biggest crimes rates outside of London so yes... Would they urinate on a Copper this would be funny to watch.

Anyways I was not there and I like to be in places espicially over serious things like this before commentating..

Let's just hope they didn't do it RIP the 96 and they should be left alone now just morn them every year lets show them respect, forget about what happened forget about what was wrote just let these people rest and on the sad occasion every year is when we can all take the minute silence and remember them for what there are, football fans we are all the same could happen to anybody anywhere

They went to watch a team they loved they went with high hopes and it's always sad when anything happens as I know how much I love football and I would feel alot more stronger if it happened to Stokie's but we have respect for a 'Real fan' as I am 1 myself just hope the families of these poor souls are all ok, nothing will ever replace a son/dauhter/mum/dad R.I.P

First off about the pickpockets and crime rate, you're wrong both Manchester and Birmingham had worse crime rates when I checked few months back.

That said Liverpool and some of it's surrounding areas are some of the most deprived areas in terms of government grants etc in the country, same with Manchester so it's no surprise there are high rates of crime.

Secondly, the song you wrote... I have always been a firm believer of don't give if you can't receive, the Liverpool fans who sing that are the idiots who go out and cause trouble for the club, they're there for trouble not the game. Last season I was in a snooker hall in Liverpool watching a united game and these scouse lads started singing it and I felt so bad to be honest knowing if any man utd fans (and there are a lot of students here who are) were to retaliate in any way they would get a snooker cue over the head. I took it upon myself to apologize on behalf of all Liverpool fans for those idiots that day as I find it appalling.

I have never and will never sing that disgusting disrespectful song, the people who do so are making it alright for united everton or anyone else to sing it to us, and it isn't alright it's a tragedy people lost lives.

Interestingly, the City of Brighton and Hove doesn't appear anywhere.

Thats because big bad boss Derry Mulloy will seriously break some legs

And because my sister is a police officer in another City, I get away with all my crime. So crime reports are zero.
