Toon miraciously drawing it level only to lose in extra time, well done Blackburn

We should have won before extra time!! Ref didn't give us any of 3 clear penalties, and gave them a penalty that they shouldn't have had.

Oh well these things happen.

Dno what Pardew was thinking with the way he set out the team tonight. Also the referee was awful from what I heard.

We should never concede 4 goals against a team like Blackburn. Ridiculous. Still unbeaten in the prem though and riding high in joint 3rd so not all is bad.

I'll never be listening to a game on the radio ever again!

I went to that game but sadly in the Blackburn end what a game though and had a tear in my eye because the Newcastle fans were just awesome! Didn't stop singing for 1 min, even when we were
2 0 down!

Newcastle should of had a pen just before they got a pen but the ref made up for it by giving us a pen which shouldnt of been. Not sure but I think Givets goal was offside

Suarez in the same category as defoe? LOL, you have to laugh at that, never thought anyone would say anything so stupid!

Amazing again last night, consistent every single game, thats what you call a quality player.

Again, he's a great player, but he's not world class.

He shows it every game, what are you missing?

It's just his finishing he needs to work on..

That's probably it then. World class players know how to finish (consistently).

To be a world class player he has to have the whole package. All he is good at is running in and out of defenders.
His goal per game ratio isn't that much better than Defoe's.

Don't be so offended... Just face the fact that he isn't quite world class yet.

It's not a bad thing. He's only 24- plenty of time to develop his finishing skills, eat some more players, cheat some more ghanaians... the whole Suarez package!

Lol m_wood I gotta say that was funny

Liverpool are better than Arsenal though. (Not as good as Newcastle, but we're too good to be playing for a silly carling cup).

Big 4 are Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal. Everyone knows that.

Jackpot did you hear this story...

Robbie Savage was riding in a taxi, the taxi driver was a Newcastle fan and they had a bet.. and if Newcastle finish in the Top4, Robbie Savage has signed an agreement that he will buy that guy a £10,000 taxi haha!

Wont happen though.. Spurs or Gunners will be 4th.

Love or hate aside mate when respect is due to somebody/something I will show it

And also Respect to every fan that turned up who outsang Stoke even when we went 1-0 up fairplay Liverpool

For the first time in 2-3 years we were shocking, if the crowd don't make an effort how do we expect the players!!!!

Fair play fella.

And you are right, the louder the atmosphere the more intimidating the game. The more likely you are to win. Anything can happen!

In 2005 we sang our team to the CL final against the likes of Leverkusen, Juventus and Chelsea who were all better than us as a team. Sang us to victory over Olympiakos when we needed 3 goals in 45 minutes to get through the groups!
Then we took over Istanbul and sang our team from 3-0 down to lift the trophy. No way in hell that squad we had in 05 should have won the champions league! I still can't believe we did it now! Igor Biscan, Djimi Traore, Vladamir Smicer, Neil Mellor, Sinema Pongolle, what a poor team

Since then though we seem to have picked up some poor fans on the back of that success who go to the games and don't sing.

We have louder support for cups than we do a regular league game no doubt, I guess it is the opposite for Stoke?

I think alot of our 'Regulars' only go to Premierleague games, always look around at alot new faces in Europe and Cup Ties also with it being £5 for under 17's in both Europe/Cup you get a hell of alot of kids around

And when you start a chant you just get 13/14 year old lads looking at you oposed to standing and joining in lol

And also about what you mentioned with there being 2 different markings on the pitch, The ones we try to cover up are for Europe only as there rules state the pitch needs to be so much bigger they don't do that just for Liverpool etc it's everyteam in England we use that size for

But i'm hoping if we can get into Europe again then we will learn to play on the 1 size pitch, it's only like 5 yards longer and 3 wider something daft not exactly alot

Diving/cheating he already did when he was 19 and got his first match in Groningen.

His 1st goal against Stoke was typical Luis, just search your opponent, get past him, doesn't matter how and a right footed finish.

A big suprise to me is that his style of playing is so physcial, but he hardly is injured....

Thing I like about Suarez is how much he really loves winning. He will do anything to win, which sometimes descends into farce, such as handballs off the line, biting, moaning, diving.

He is actually very strong, and can hold off a lot of physical tackles when he wants to, he did it against stoke and sliced a shot wide, we didn't get a penalty, whereas if he goes over we might have.

My advice to Luis is, if they keep fouling you fella, keep falling. I am yet to see him yet dive, just exaggerate contact like Adam did against Ferdinand 2 weeks back.

When he dives then he deserves booking and all the abuse that comes with it. I just can't remember him doing it for us yet!
