I have said many a time; Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Fulham, QPR maybe wolves/westbrom are not premier league clubs for there support and history.

WIgan about 10-12 year ago used to get 1000 a game in 4th division its a joke that stadium is never full, But like you said it is all Rugby over there.

Leeds, Forest, Southampton should be in premier league for there support.

But it aint about supprt. its about money, But whoever thinks all the clubs i said are bigger than leeds or southampton or forest are deluded imo

100% agree mate. A Premier League with Forest, Leeds, West Ham, is better than one with Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn IMO. Hope all 3 of them go down.

I've always been brought up to respect teams like Forest for their achivements, rather than looking at who is flavour of the season.

I will always respect Forest for what their 2 European Cups and how they won them, much better than what City are doing at the moment, or Chelsea in the recent past.

I almost feel sorry what they have become. Almost.

How can you say Blackburn have no history :s They are the only team out of the "top 4" to win the premier league

See heres the differnece between you and I.

I dont mind you laughing at Forest. I dont take offence to that. But you take offence when people laugh at your club, thats the difference in fans.

So Forest dominated possession first half against the Tigers, and really Forest didnt do enough to get a win, but didnt deserve a loss, bit smash n grab from Hull which happens! Still, 6 points from 9 for Cotterill is a good start!

Some amazing scorelines today, a special mention for Sheffield United 4-4 Exeter!!! Go on Exeter!!!! And Burton winning 6-2 at Barnet! And what a goal by Theo Walcott

So the Premier League we have seen..

Chelsea get smashed 3-5
Arsenal get smashed 2-8
Loserpool get smashed 0-4
Man Utd get smashed 1-6
Tottenham get smashed 1-5
.....Strange start to the season

I don't take offence to you laughing at Liverpool, you couldn't possibly offend me, Wood. Especially not through laughing at Liverpool, Forest are actually crap and worthy of laughing at! We're just not as good as we once were and trying to get back to some sort of success.

But you spend most of your time on here talking about Liverpool, with never anything nice to say, and you contradict yourself all the time in order to see Liverpool in a bad light.

I will never do that. I love footballing history, so I could call Forest a small club to get a reaction, but IMO you're not, so I wont!

I'll keep saying it but I hope you get promotion to the prem! I've hoped it for years, even when you were d!cking about in League one because it is where you should be.

Would be 6 easy points as well

Hmmm;

Man utd, Chelsea and arsenal are the only teams in the "big four" to win the premier league Liverpool and city never have won the premier league. Blackburn won it in 94 with crap loads of cash and new stadium and new players..

I don't feel like i need to justify myself to someone who obviously thinks every team in the big four have won the league

Btw bolton won the FA cup in the 1890's i guess that makes them a big premier league team too does it?

I'm just curious, what teams are the "big four"???

Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and.... Who??

Surely to be one of the big four, you must have been a quality team for years and years, so that rules Chelsea out, as they only really started to get noticed around 1997, hovering around the top 7.

Man City have always been average until the billionaires came along.

This is a serious question by the way, I'm not trying to have a go at Chelsea or Man City lol.

While that may be the logical reason jack I believe they work it out on recent success and how the teams are doing now.

So using that method the top 4 at the min will be man utd man city arsenal and chelsea which doesn't bother us Liverpool fans really we will just get on with it and do what we can to upset the so called top 4

For a few year well since 2004 its alwasy been man utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, but liverpool declined and spurs stepped in for one season, and last year city came into it.

Its always been man utd and arsenal since 1992 Newcastle have got in top 4 is it 3 times or 4 times? WHich everyone seems to forget..

I would say current "top four" Man utd, Man city, Arsenal, Chelsea, But i would say there are 6 teams in the league who are better than everyone else (add liverpool and spurs to that four)

Then i would say Stoke, Newcastle, Villa, Everton are the only teams who could break into that top 6 and are always there abouts in the top 10..

Well seen as the premier league wasn't around in the 1890s then no Bolton aren't a big premier league team. Does it really matter if a team buys the league? No it doesn't because that's the way its going now.

Where did I say that every team in the top 4 had won the premier league anyway?

Disagree entirely. Forest are not crap. With the squad we have available we are a good team. Playoffs last 2 seasons. The problem with you is, you think anyone who isnt Top 4 in the Prem is crap, well that rules Loserpool out then doesnt it. Why would I have anything good to say about Loserpool when I dont like them. Ive nothing good to say about Derby, or Leicester either, why would I have anything positive to say when I dont like these teams. And i dont contradict myself, i state facts... which brings me onto Jackpot..

Jackpot, well it depends on what your calling Big 4. If your asking what are the Top 4 teams in English football history then yes, Man Utd, Loserpool hmm not sure who else would fit into the Top 4 mind. If you are talking about modern day top 4, then its Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. How can ANYONE disagree with that.

Chelsea have been in the top 4 for the last 9 seasons.
Arsenal have been in the top 4 for the last 15 seasons.
Man Utd, no comment needed.
Man City, think its pretty obvious that they are in the Top 3 English teams and will be for a considerable amount of time.

Don't recall saying or ever thinking that tbh. Have you just made that up?

20th in the championship isn't to flash though, nor is having 14 points from 14 games. In fact that is crap!

I've already made my thoughts on the big 4 and top 4 very clear.

I want know part of it for Liverpool.

4th doesn't interest me, it is 3 places below where Liverpool should be aiming.Top 1 and big 1 is what we should be aiming for.

Take away the money making champions league spot that comes with 4th, then teams would stop aiming to finish there!

4th has become so much of an obsession it has taken over the minds of fans and clubs. Teams would rather finnish 4th than win the Carling Cup or FA Cup.

Madness!

4th place is ruining English football. Only 1 team should enter the Champions League from each european country, and that is the Champions!

The 'Champions League' is a boring competition tbh, since Porto won it in 04 and us in 05, it has been pretty much the same names in the final stages. I prefered it how it used to be when anyone could play anyone, straight knock out, no seeds, no protection. Just excitement from the start. The European Cup.

The most succesful English clubs in order:

Pin back you're lugholes premier league fan boys!

league FA Cup League Cup European Cup Uefa Cup

L'pool 18 7 7 5 3
Man U 19 10 4 3 0
Arsenal 13 10 2 0 1
Everton 9 5 0 0 0

So there is your "big 4" in England.

If you really are interested in the "top 4" then just look at the table.

It's

Man City
Man United
Chelsea
Newcastle

He's on his way out mate

I think he will be in and out for rest of the season tbh

Match Fitness is something he is starting to lack, hopefully he's around for another season or 4 lol as Liverpool will go to pot without him
