As for Suarez he is a controversial character who rubs people up the wrong way, racially abusing a player though over steps the mark. If he is found guilty then he deserves whatever he gets to be honest.

What will happen is the FA will charge him, Suarez will appeal on the grounds of 'linguistic nuances' (things meaning different things in French and Spanish) the best lawyers in the world will come in and it will carry on through the courts for months.

Eventually I think Luis will clear his name.

I wont be telling my kids in the future "England beat Spain 1-0 at Wembly, what a game it was!".

Infact I will have forgotten about it until im reminded because it was a pathetic excuse for a friendly match.

If anyone wants their team to win the euros by having 2 attempts at goal and have 9 men back for '75 minutes' in total of a match, then they need theropy.

Whilst I appreciate if you play football against Spain you will probably lose, but at least you have your dignity.

When Norwich and Swanseas etc go to a game playing the Uniteds/Chelsea's they expect to lose, but still try and play football.

There is no excuse for having 8 defenders, 1 midfielder and 1 attacker in a pre tournament friendly against the world and european champions, unless you plan on using that stratagy a lot.

Arsenal tried football against Barca - Lost.

Madrid tried it against Barca - Got spanked.

United tried it too... - lost

Chelsea tried to play football against Barca - Lost to a 94th minute wonder goal and were robbed blind to finish as a draw.

Chelsea are living proof that you can play a better side, have more posession, more attempts and concede one shot on target without having to park 9 men behind the ball.

There are hundreds more examples I could give you in this scenario.

There are a lot more in a defensive formation, dont get me wrong it does work. But whilst a footballing, attacking, attractive option is proven not impossible, why defend the whole game in a friendly?

It obviously means that Capello is planning to use this the entire Euro's.

If we get Spain in our group, will he decide to play football against them? How stupid would he be then, having to play them and not tried seeing if he could beat them in a friendly!!

I watch 9 men defend everytime Chelsea play, and Chelsea cant break them down anymore. Spain can and do on numerous occassions. England were lucky and if the fans think England are solid or have good chances playing like that, then im not even sure theropy would help.

Im not sure what you two guys have been hearing or saying. As far as im aware, there are zero England fans who are getting carried away with the win over Spain. Not one. Personally I would bring Villa or Torres on they can take players on and make opportunities from nothing.
