This power snooker is still missing the most important thing -

1. The Power girls!!

Also...cant the practice mode be changed in order for the power ball to have an affect. Also the powerzone has no affect either I dont think.

So in practice mode, its just regular snooker with 9 balls.

Yawn!

Yawn, been mentioned a lot Derry

And yes we are missing the power girls

Also this 200 difference and opponent can press white flag is ridiculous. 9 min I had left in a match and opponent did it...twice. It should be at least 300 or like 5 min before end it can be pressed. (infact why not both conditions have to be satisfied for the flag to be made available)

yep, they can quit after 1 frame. if you get 150+, it puts you over the 200 barrier....

thats what i mean i dont enjoy the game now simply because the flag is there, puts me off more than anything.

5 minutes left sounds good and 300 points behind also, like i said the way it is at the moment people will concede in 1st 2 minutes or simply leave which is not what we want.

we want an enjoyable game and the current way is not the answer to any problems, if anything nick has only made power snooker worse.

last 5 minutes with 300 or 400 behind seems reasonable and will probably enjoy power snooker again.

Is there a way you can create a room and once you press play you are LOCKED in the room until the concede button or the game ends, would be better imo.

Definately not! The referee is there to enforce the rules and not to give advice. It is like, for instance, you are on a red and are clearly aiming to pot the black - it is not up to the ref to tell you that you are aiming for the wrong ball.

Peter ebdon with the brown and red incident a classic example of this

Like they can't tell you if a ball re-spots or not either.

^^ thats right, watch this from exactly 13:00 for clarification i the most brutal way

Is that just for the break off though? Like it has to be fully behind the line for the break off but only a bit over the line for the powerzone to count?

That is part 1 of 4 clips Jim. In the 3rd Clip if I remember correctly, the commentating player (Ali Carter) was talking about this issue and apparently, the ball has to be tipping over towards the baulk line to effectivly count as in the powerzone. Which is the same for the break.

So anything over 50% of the ball.

If that helps

If you watch the next clip closely Ms Tabb also explains that to Ronnie.

An interesting bit is the fact it was an 8 point foul. I thought that was a mis-call by her, as he wasn't in the powerzone, but I guess what matters is that the break shot *should* be from the powerzone.

BTW - Nick can confirm (or anyone else who noticed) whether this is the case for the game here, I've not see it so don't know, but thats the official rule.

Just been browsing through the thread and there seems to be alot of whining about this and that, tbh Nick has done a great job in bringing in the power snooker as quickly as he did as it's not long been released in the real world, i just think we should let Nick do what Nick does and just enjoy the game!. There are a few concerns that could be improved but i'm sure in due course Nick will rectifiy them and the game will be better.. as it is only an online stimulated game though i don't see why it needs to resemble the real life version so much after all if there are slight differences then in my eyes it adds to the fun.

Just play the game and enjoy!.. if these issues bother you that much, play the other remaining game types. Simple!.

it's true though i enjoy the game for what it is, yeah there are a few glitches but i just deal with it... if my opponent leaves or concedes then so be it... it's an online game i'm not walking away with a prize i get the century or highest break

yeah but imagine if they left 1 minute into the frame, or if you got a century break in 1st 2 minutes every 2 or 3 frames then, you would be annoyed as you would get many chances at another century, yes i get a win on my profile but as people who know me know that i only care about halfs and cents and not the wins.

IF the concede was updated to 300 behind with 5 minutes left ONLY i wouldnt mind so much.

Just a shame some of the fun has been taken out of power snooker because your worried people will leave or concede 2 minutes into the fixture.
