it's ok if u hit a specific break shot that is ALLOWED rulewise!

real players do that in a-specifc-way too !

just youtube a carom frame, and u'll see the break shot eveyone does

Lets try and change the most important "mistakes" first.

1) Lag shot (yet to be fixed)
2( Break shot (done)
3) rise of points
4) and even choice of different points

Then, make it even more realistic by choosing colours (dgen ), simultaneous lags etc

True, its bad positional play by me to be honest, i used to do them like the real thing here, but i had mouse problems sometimes, running too short :/

To be honest, the only reason they roll them is bcoz of the spin, they can apply check side and mega side spin... so they need to roll the balls. Plus the table looks insanely quick and its looks well slanted :S.

Make frames of 20 points, friendlies only.

(so there's no problem with ranking system..)

Deffo needs to have more points. I played a few games with u dgen and we played 4 or 5 in about 15 mins.

Longer games would be appreciated by the growing Carom community.

there definitely needs to be some changes with carom, with double ranking points in tourny matches the rankings are now a complete joke. the fact i can get to the top when i am by no means one of the best in the game says a lot.

The problem is that with games being only 5 points, it's very easy for a less good player to fluke a win with this new seemingly fashionable eyes closed approach to carom, where you aim for the side of the nearest ball and hope if you go far enough around the table you will hit the 2nd ball. This takes very little skill but can mean a player with no ability at all can beat someone who plays proper shots which are planned.

I think either the scaling for ranking should be reduced or games need to be made longer, this being much more important with ranked tournaments now. The longer a game is, the more likely it is that the better player will win. This is a fact, i can prove it to you if you wish but i am not posting that here!

And the cheat lag needs to be got rid of
