I think we've got the best of both worlds now.

Apologies for the pocket jaw change - as I said above it was a side effect of making the game physics and underlying more accurate and consistent. It was a small change and I didn't anticipate it having such an impact on potting success.

Making it more difficult to pot is not something that I really want to change - after all it would render the previous stats tainted as they would have been achieved on a table with less difficulty.

However, now we have the pocket sizes pretty much as before, but we also have consistent pockets across each table, across the different tables, and higher accuracy between the graphics and the logic.

Maybe I was one of this alleged 5% that liked the new pockets because i think its gone the opposite way now, its beyond easy to pot if you get it even half right the ball wobbles in the jaw and falls in even more so than a few weeks ago

To be honest, g_echo_l, it is probably more due to the fact that you have had a period of needing to be more accurate that has now made the pots seem easier

We'll see based on results and daily stats soon enough anyway

I havent really had any period though because i had barely played since the new changes were made but it is probably true dave

I was struggling to hit a half with the new changes, it was a good challenge tho trying to master the new angles.

I've had 4 cents today and over 20 halfs. I find when you keep hitting loads of high breaks it tends to get boring after a while, obviously thats just my opinion tho.

maybe nick could make some expert tables with tighter pokets and what not for you pros and above with seperate stats for them

No one is asking for new tables and no one is spiting there dummy out just like you were doing over the new changes, all i was saying is i was enjoying the challenge.

There is no problem, you're solution was a terrible one thats the only problem lol. No one was asking for anything to be changed.......I was just stating my opinion. I'm not one of them people that moans about every new update i just get on with it, this is just an online game after all.

whats wrong with suggesting there could be tighter harder tables for the pros if they wanted them the tables the pros play on in the real world are tighter and faster than a pub/club table you and i would play on its a forum people type good or bad ideas no need for the attitude against the idea just cos its not your cup of tea

I don't think there would be any need for that to be honest. It seems people are happy playing on the tables as they are now, just to clarify as well i never once mentioned that it's too easy with the old pockets...

There isnt a need or do i want it . You said it gets boring somtimes getting high breaks which i understood as being easy . Iv read (i think) other really good players saying they enjoyed the challenge of the harder pokets so i shared a thought i had . Your responce was uncalled for really i wasnt talkin directly to you

It's just common sense really that there will never be new tables just for pro's. It just wouldn't happen and no one is asking for that anyway, it does get boring after a while of hitting high breaks yeah. I wasn't complaining about it i was just saying. It's no problem cause once i get boring i just log out, simple as that lol, i still love playing.......if i knew you were going bite my head off about it then i wouldn't of even mentioned it!

Theres nothing wrong with my posts, I wasn't abusive and i didn't break any rules.
