well yeah it is to be honest, if you win a tournament you are beating players under pressure... on the other hand, higher ranked players like me, could be drawn with 7 other players who are 600 odd, then if you lose, there is something wrong there

with these new pockets anybody can beat anybody else.

You shouldn't get a tournament win for them though. Considering entries are capped to the first 8 it is worthless. (I know sometimes we get less than that but thats different)

Maybe have a new stat 'Reflexes' How fast can you click the tournament pop-up.

Sorry, but this sort of thing is said (not only on this subject) without any evidence to support the claim, all too often.

I think hes probably taking a rough estimate of the number of people posting on this thread who dont like it and the number of people posting who do, working out a sample mean from this of how many don't like it and then applying that to the population as a whole. sadly in life if you disagree then it is down to you to disprove it, so i suggest you run a hypothesis test probably 5% significance level to test if his claim can be justified .

or on the other hand i could get a life.

on topic, it is no harder than before to pot. ive just played 15 games and potted as many as i normally would.



yes its harder to pot, yes its more realistic, yes its a challenge and yes we will get used to it!

the thing i would like to see updated is the position of the black in regular which is still proportionally nearer the pack than in arcade or original. this is probably why less maxes are scored in regular in my opinion!

In fact, I can prove there is a Santa Nick, yes I can...

Last night while I was asleep, he wafted down the chimney, or however he gets in - who knows - and he, he magically made the game all better - he cured it -
Now if that doesn't prove it what does.

For my part we (me included) were all quick enough to start moaning but let me be the first to say thanks Nick for making the game fun again. All the best cya, off for a game...

And its even better than I thought - I was just playing and a message came up- "server restarting" everyone apparently went off in mid game... A few minutes later and even the balls are back to normal, now they look like balls and not candy cartoon balls - GREAT stuff, thanks Nick.

Great. thanks for undoing the changes on the pockets. Was really struggling before on my break building. Played for less than an hour today and have already made 3 half centuries with a lot more ease compared to only 3 i made since the changes began. Wasn't fussed about the ball animation in pockets either but after playing with it for about a week it has grown on me bit.
