Did you really find it easy to pot when you first started playing...? I know I didn't. It took some time to get used to it; how to control the white properly, and, in particular, the angles.

Surely new members (who have never played the previous version) face the same challenges as we did when we started?
Who knows .. because they don't have to "unlearn" the existing tables, they may get better faster than you, I or any members in the previous posts in this thread.

This site has progressed greatly over time, and will undoubtedly continue to do so. Nick - you have my support (even if I can't get a cent in regular any more)

ok ill post again its a forum to discuss things im sure nick knows what he is doing but people have opinions and yes baff good point but overall 95% probably dont like the updates and i wont reduce myself to say its the end of the world.

These tighter pockets are just what's needed im my opinion, before it was far to easy for people to make game winning breaks. Now it requires more skill and concentration

i never knew there was any changes, its just as simple i got a 130 after frame 3 the other day.

im gutted i overplayed it, because now if i cat geta 147 im bored and when the 100 goes i could simply sign out.

ill always love funkysnoker, have a lot of time for the game and still play when i can.

i will always look out for the moderators who do a fantastic job.

the people that complain about change are behind the times. the game must change to stay interesting.

nick does a brilliant job. this game is amazing.

Just to clarify my comments before. There was no deliberate aim by me to significantly alter the difficulty of potting. For next patch the pocket jaw in arcade will be widened to pretty much identical compared to before but in addition the graphics will change to show this too. The pocket jaw on regular and original will be identical to arcade.

The sound will also be fixed. The thud pocket sound will occur more often and consistently. Currently it's not often enough.

One thing that's been posted a few times is that people shouldn't "learn" anything again. You could consider this the same as playing on a new table - it was nice that the old table had a small roll that took some balls in that shouldn't have gone - but it would be nicer that there is no learning involved. People should be able to play on here, on funkypool, on other snooker computer games, and (theoretically) in real life without learning any such game idiosyncrasies. The old table was a lower resolution JPEG file, it's now using a PNG file, and the logic can be more precise.

Also, please remember the pocket jaw change and the ball animation addition are independent changes, they do not rely on each other.

These Micro tournys, no tournament win but you still get tournapoints? whats the point in that?

agree with the last part mooney, if you win a tournament it should say you have won a tournament on your profile

a micro torny win isnt worthy of a mention.
