There's absolutely no good reason that a ball magically disappearing is better than a ball rolling into the pocket (except that people have got used to it and refuse to adjust) but I would understand criticism that it should bounce / act differently.
No, same as before, a ball potted before will still be potted with the animation (though while it is there it could block a second ball going in).
Just on the bit in italics, I actually thought sometimes the potted ball looked too small in the pocket when it was going down. Seemed more like a pingpong ball than a snooker ball. Anybody else share this opinion or do people think the size is ok?

maybe but to the average player that maybe has been playing the game for about a year or so the change is not so good.

This update doesn't favor top players. It's just the way the balls look and drop...
If you were a new player and didn't know the way it was before, it would look perfectly fine to you.

i didnt say that it favours the top players, it probably wont make a difference to them, but like i said to the average person it does.

I actually think thats quite a good idea, makes the game alot more realistic aswell, gives more of a chance side to the game and prevents people from learning certain traits that they would on a game and using them continuosly.

If it affects average players negatively but doesn't affect top players, that means it's good for top players surely.

i dont disagree with the new update i jst think that the old way was better but then again i havnt really had time to ajust.

I've been playing over 4 years now, so don't try using that excuse and I think this is a quality update. Yes there is slight tweaks which could be done which have already been mentioned but overall this a quality update!

i must be one of the average players as i cant pot any more as much as the update looks better im having trouble with the bottom left pocket its killing me all the bounceouts

I think people are confusing 'bounce outs' where the ball enters the pocket, hits the back and comes out again with rattling in the jaw and bouncing away from the pocket.

If it does look small it's an optical illusion due to it being a bit darker, as the ball remains the same size when it rolls into the pocket.
I was thinking about reducing the ball size to make it appear further away but changing the ball size currently has some performance impact which I wanted to avoid.

i know the difference mate and seriously ive had them on the pocket and smashed it straight and its bounced out and hit white up other end of the table only in reg and orig tho for me
