This is the first time I've ever felt the need to appear on the forum, everything to now has been perfection, okay, the odd change here and there, but other than that no call to winge moan or groan.

After several years I ABSOLUTELY love this game and whoever controls it, deserves a medal - No, a whole heap of medals, wonderful, marvellous, great game.

But these new changes... These really new changes are spoiling it for me and it seems for many others as well. Yes, I'm sure people will get used to the changes or stop playing but why try to impove on something so darned nigh on perfect.

In Carom - can you have next to the players name the colour of ball they have for that game - in 9 ball you have the colour of ball up there so I guess it is an easy fix. I only ask as I'm learning the game and would just like to see the colour I'm playing next to my name and likewise for opponent. Before the balls come to rest I'm thinking about my next shot and bizarrely I forget if I'm yellow or white sometimes! I'm sure I'm not the only one......!!

not a bad idea al if you remember if your on left your white and right is yellow you should be ok but at times i have forgotten too until i clicked down on mouse (not shooting) and realised

I havent played, and dont play this site much anymore, but when I did play a few weeks back I didnt actually enjoy it due to the new changes.

You have to forget that players like me who have been playin gthis site for like 5 years aim and shoot in a way which is the norm.

To then change the whole mathematics and physics of potting and general gameplay is bizzare.

I dont see any logic in making these changes and I feel it has ruined the appertite of many players for playing this site.

I'm not remotely concerned, I just feel as one of the veterens of the site that the changes are ruining the game.

I don't think the physics have been changed. Not according to Nick at least.

I've been round years Derry, and I do not see the problem. I don't play too much anymore but don't seem to find any problems (apart from lack of form a bit but know that's me).

I havent actually read the previous posts, I dont feel I need to. If I played Original snooker, which I think I've played no more than 200 frames in 5 years then I might of noticed the wider pocket .

I feel without knowing the changes and opinions on the changes benefits me as its totally unbias and I can make a clear decision.

I have only played Arcade and Powersnooker, and on arcade it felt completely different. I was missing the jaws of pockets when taking easy shots.

I use to be farily good at the game but I certinly noticed the changes and didnt like it at all.

Thats just my opinion and I appiciate the hard work and effort that Nick and the staff put in. Im just trying to help

Actually, that extra bit was not particularly aimed at you it was, as stated, an aside. My main point was that the changes were not just a drunken whim of Nick's but there were good reasons for the changes. A bit like finally getting round to putting a beer mat under the leg of a table that has had a roll on it for years

and indeed id like to see a few rules added to the game:
*touching ball
*free ball - though it would affect max breaks in a bad way - not the people who made 300 107s would be on top of the max break rankings, but the dude who was lucky enough to get a free ball with all reds on the table, making a 115)
*Miss rule would encourage to play epic snookers, though without a ref, it may be hard to implement
