Tbh though most tappers dont do it tactically to annoy opponents, they do it because they don't have the ability to play safe behind a baulk colour.
and on potting the white to end game, if you don't like it put in a "call frame" button where the concede button appears. there wouldn't be anything unsporting then.

I agree with the first part of that Adam, but from my experience it is actually more the higher ranked players who are inclined to tap (only a very small minority I will say), and not guys who are incapable of playing safe. If that was the case we'd have no real reason to get annoyed, as if they've not the ability to play safe we should beat them anyway, regardless of dirty play or not.
From my experience the players who make these shots are higher ranked players who are taking tourny points/wins, stats and ranking too seriously and forgetting that FS is not a real sport.
In a Micro final yesterday I had a player I was friends with try to purposely foul to gain an advantage! It backfired on him, he overhit and I cleared up. But I was gobsmacked that he did that, and he was no Newbie or inexperienced player. He was someone desperate to win... someone who has no friends when there's a game to be won.
It's only sad people who play like that, and even if they win the game I advise people to leave the table with a moral victory, rather than doing it back. A player makes cheat shots through 'fear'... scared if he plays within the rules he/she will lose. Don't forget that.... thats the real motivating factor behind such play: fear.

they are only high rank due to tapping usually and soon fall from that high rank therefore showing that they are not that good these people can be spotted by the lack of centuries that they have achieved

interesting to see people's opinions. i agree that deliberately missing when snookered to gain an advantage is cheating, and its a shame we can't fix it.
on the fouling the final black people obviously do stuff for different reasons. an example is, im on 26 and final black is staring at me (a meaningless boring black) i pot the white lol. before some of you shout "unsportsmanship" i'll let you in on something. like i said ppl do stuff for different reasons i pot the white on last black because people like to leave after they've lost. so i pot the white which is a lot faster waiting time for the opponent. yes i do it for your benefit.if i pot the black you have to wait for all balls to stop before a new frame can start so i pot the white and its over instantly. sure some people do it to annoy their opponent. but that's not always the case. i miss on purpose when there's no halves on and i've won so that my victim doesn't have to wait( ieven do it sometimes when there is a half on cos theyre so boring lol). and they repay the favour by trying to clear the remaining balls! thanks guys so annoying when youre 93-0 up and they keep messing around potting balls. it's usually guests doing this. which rarely makes me commit deliberate fouls lol.

woah. I actually agree with you.
Potting the white on the last black is in now way unsportsmanlike.
In real snooker, people just quit when only the black is left.

i just pot white anyway on black if no 50 is on or miss on purpose if they need 3+ snookers with 2 reds left to try and get game done quicker.
i remember kaison doing it on arcade years ago, he would pot white/miss when he got to 50 to make games so far.
