If the team composed of player 1, player 2,..., player 15 wins two seasons running, irrespective of whatever random word has been assigned to that team, then that team has won 2 league titles.
If this team then wins again however player 8 has left and has been replaced by player 16, then there are 2 league victories for players (1-15) and one league victory for players (1-7,9-16) regardless of if the name changes.

I am basically saying a team has won 2 league titles if and only if every member on the team is the same.

The same can be said for any type of team anywhere! Look at American sports, where clubs are a franchise. The current Los Angeles Dodgers used to be the Brooklyn Dodgers until they were moved by their new owner decades ago.
