and its the same with IE too before you say :P

Yea its nothing to do with browsers or java or adverts or any thing really simple that people are suggesting, There is something a bit slow about the site atm and only nick or a admin be able to help out.

From what's been said in this thread, it looks to me as if it is a problem on your end. If it were a problem with the actual site, then it would likely affect everybody.

What is your computer security set up?
Also what are your computer specs?

This is really beginning to annoy me!

I have done everything that has been suggested in the forums. It isnt just this site, its funkypool too.

Every other site on the internet has no problem loading! This is only affecting funky sites. So I'm saying it must be the server that its running on.

Can it get a reboot?

Ok, so maybe it's me. I tried connecting through my phone's 3G connection and the site worked fine. I can't understand though why it's only affecting the funkysites. So I'm guessing it's something to do with my ip address? I have tried clearing the Internet history on both IE and firefox. Will try again later.

Any help would be greatly appriciated

Well I am still having problems with the site. And this only started on Thursday. Downloaded nothing, made no changes, been using the same IE9 for months and had no problems. Its only the Funky website that I have the problem with. When I eventually get onto the homepage after 20 mins, and several refreshes, I can load the gameplay side of it like normal and its fine. Its the website.

I'd find somethin else to do rather than wasting 20mins everytime waiting for the page to load lol! Seen as tho theres only a couple of people having problems there is obviously nothin wrong with the site.

A handful of people are experiencing the problem, and how many more who dont use the forum? Clearly there is an issue with the site in some form.

It's more likely to be something on your end. As I said before, if it was a problem with the site, it would likely affect everybody, not just a small minority.

i believe if it was a site issue at least 50% would be affected, but we will never know as half of them cant or dont post.

ive not had any problems.

I will answer all of these after, Nick or a admin say if the site is perfecto, I know that some people can not log in atm due to this problem http://www.funkysnooker.com/thread/8196/unable-to-login/1

Its running quicker today though and i can easily play a game if i want too, Also m_wood you have been logged in playing games so it can't be all that bad.

I have come home all ready to blitz my computer with a clean up hoping to get on. I uninstalled a couple of java add ons in firefox and all seems well.

I have not done anything else. Ill see if it still works for me later

The only other thing i did was logged into my account on a completly different computer. One that is nowhere near the house, and a completly different ip address and it was fine. Im thinking if people were not being able to log in, some reason it might have been from the server crash last week and for some reason the accounts were still affected from same ip's so if you log in from somewhere else it might sor of 'reset' it and let you log in again from your home pc.

I would suggest getting someone you trust to log in then start a game, then log out and give you your account back. Then try and log in yourself.

It may work

i've had problems for the last week, it's not been my internet as i've been able to access other sites whilst being disconnected from funkysnooker

Do as i did, try logging in on a different computer. Not one on your network. and then log out, see if that does anything you'll at least know if the site resolves on another computer
