I believe that if either one of those players were to face off in a race to 100 then they would win.

Ovbiously a few exceptions that have a chance of succeeding. Kaison, Jaaaames, Whocares.

whirlwind also baulks, i played him once but didn't impress me one bit, i should have won it too.

swap whirlwind for yourself flame and swap hustler for ste_efc and you have top 5 atm. as for all time top 5.

Nothing wrong with baulking or tapping.
Baulking: If I could clear every table by just baulking, I would gladly do it. Whatever wins the frame (excluding pushing out) is fine.
Tap Break: Just smash it on the next shot then? Problem solved.

Its just most of the top 10, tap break, i mean if you had a whole top 10 rankings tap breaking.. it just shows how much the standards have dropped over the years.. as players like ste, lyle, destiny and that were there, they smashed breaked and thats what makes a good player

I mean people tap breaking in speed tournaments, are they out of their mind ? whats the point in joining, and then tap breaking for a 10 minute game IMO

Theres a difference between tapping and nudging. I see nothing wrong in Tapping from break and then tapping balls out of the way with cannons etc.... Nudging is the pet hate. But then again some people play like a Gust of wind cough cough, just nudge the entire game without even trying to make the balls move.

I prefer smash-breaking as well.
But my question to you is: If you're bothered by tapping, why don't you smash the pack when it's your shot?

I want a maximum.

The ONLY reason I play table snooker on this site is to hit a maximum. Smashing on the second shot will decrease chances of finishing on the black. Due to the position of the white entering the pack, if you're not coming down from side cushion towards the black you have very little chance of finishing on the black.

This is why its frustrating.

If a player doesnt have the brass to risk losing a frame by smashing the break then its not cowardly, its quite frankly pathetic.

Also I assume the players who do not smash break believe it isnt successful. So if this is the case, why not pocket the white when its their break and let the other player smash break so that they can then "take advantage of an open table".

My ex mrs could pot off the break..

Also in ref to masterplan, all these players have had previous accounts, thewhirlwind, __hustler__, brentologist, I_am_blessed, Mr_explosive...

Take a look at the dates when seal_paul and ste_efc's accounts were created. I havent looked but they are about 4 years old +. The game has become easier, screens have become bigger, play options have become easier and they have had some time to practice.

I also consider the players I nominated to be better than me, whereas I dont believe the others nominated are much different to me in ability wise. However, I have lost interest.

Arcade is so easy to pot off the break, its virtually snookers version of 8 ball UK, its ridiculous to tap break on that game lol, especially when you got 900s doing it, you never used to... in fact the only decent player in that top 10 now, is Ste.

Doesn't matter whether it's easy or not to pot. Whatever wins you the frame is what you should do. Players who are up at 900 are obviously playing in such a way that they win more than they lose.
Remember- it always takes two to tap for 10 minutes...

This nostalgia about the good old times and the players back in the day is nice, but in a discussion about who is the best today, talking about destiny, al, or magical_cue is pointless- if they're not playing they're not relevant.
In arcade, lots of people can break and clear or clear when they get a shot. That includes long-standing members and more recent good players. I'd be comfortable taking on destiny or anyone really in a race to 100. I'd probably lose, but it won't be by much of a margin. I would definitely win around 45 games, just because you can't defend against a break and clear.
