download window washer, edit bleach settings as follows -
would u like to add bleach - yes
overwrite passes* - gutmann ( should be 35 )
wash file slack space - yes
run 1st wash - should take around 1 hour! close all i.e internet programs that are open or it should do it for u, click yes...
when done, go on i.e. internet options and clear browsing history...
next use washer again and it should take less than 1minute should of cleared up at least 2-4 GB of space
next clear temp , type in run %temp% then file should open if anything there clear it all ctrl + a then delete all...
from what bud said it speeds your internet which can cut lag down also, i intend to try this when i am not busy (preferably when im on the xbox).

Bump.....
Due to the past 3 weeks of me constantly getting lag, with my snooker balls being juddery, blasting a shot which ends up in a tapping shot. Losing games because of this constant underhitting and then overhitting to compensate and always out of position
I hypercammed a game with Hughsy, which I shall upload onto here, but it doesnt show what I see and experience to a degree, might do a webcam version. Fix thanks

for me its always been 1 particular advert which is the guardian, but this morning the game was very slow and my opponent coolwater said the same thing, not blaming funky as it could well be my comp but just letting you know

So you get lag, coolwater gets lag, I get lag, many others get lag. It is common practice and it is annoying when it is now a massive contributing factor in the game outcome.

If people are using a laptop then this might help. There is a little battery icon in the bottom right corner, click that then find the power settings and click high performance... Worked perfectly for me

I used to have this problem on my old, low spec PC. I had to upgrade to a top end PC for my college work and since then the game has run fine. It might have been because my PC was old and because it was low spec it was struggling to cope with all the background processes that had built up over time. If you haven't tried already you could try defragging your PC. I use WinDirStat for that kind of stuff. I don't know if it will help, I'm no expert but as it is a common problem it could be something as simple as that which is causing the game to be jittery and laggy.

just got this advert vs obieeeee and i didn't have lag before but during that frame i took 1 shot from break and for every 5-10 seconds it moved 1 pixel i could talk normally and everything, and by 10 minutes i was bored and logged out due to the freezing, pretty sure it wasn't my computer as it only come up when this ad came up and wouldn't go away.

If you are using Opera, try using opera turbo. That fixed the lag for me. Or just try another browser.
