Just wanted to highlight a great Birmingham City win tonight; 2-1 Ipswich Town. Zigic earning his crust and unbeaten at St. Andrews all season! Keep Right On!!

The racism debate is boring me now he got the which I believe was more than needed 4 games max I would say. He used a word which means black make of that what you will, obviously the panel thought he was being offensive.
I just don't think you would see a white guy running crying if he was called a white boy or anything similar but that's just my opinion I am not being racist here. Although the FA may ban me for 8 games of carom and fine me 1000 tournapoints.
Anyway game today we ruled the first half then sat back typical Liverpool but it's what we are good at, great tactics, boring but great.

How can you possibly believe Suarez though? The incident took place for hundreds of thousands of people to see... It was clear that he used it whilst having an argument, so chances are, he was using it as an insult.
It's more likely that he was being racist than if he wasn't.
What is this rubbish about Suarez being all angry? I've yet to see any video evidence of this anger.
He said he used the term to mean pal. "Why, Pal?" bearing in mind pal has 2 meanings.
The linguistic experts said that made more sense than what Evra was claiming anyhoo.
And probably doesn't cut it sorry, if you were found guilty of probably killing someone, you wouldn't be happy would you?
Anyway as Mich said, its boring now.
You think he deserves 8 games for saying negro be it once, 4 times or 100 times, I think Suarez was used as a political pawn in the FA's agenda against Fifa. End of.

Why are you copying and pasting the linguistic experts take on the use of the word negro?
I've already posted what the experts said on the exact use of the word Suarez claims to have used.
Not interested in how the word can be used negatively, because that isn't the point.
The point was that the experts concluded that if Suarez was to be believed, then he used the term in an acceptable manner.
In fact the only thing that came out of the whole thing was that we now know Evra is a horrible lying little gimp.

Lol, I don't get why people keep saying he shouldn't have left Arsenal. He's moved to a better team, with better players, has more money in his pocket, and has a chance to win trophies...
I actually feel sorry for him. Lately he's had a lot of stick for not playing his best, but even when he isn't at his best, he's still class. If he moved to Liverpool I bet those 2 guys would have been kissing the ground he walks on.
Funny video anyway, thanks for sharing.

The best part of the game, without a doubt, was when the beeb commentators said "now this is where the lights go out and you hear a chorus of blue moon" then all I heard was YNWA.

Only saw 2nd half of this match. Never seen before such a defensive team as Liverpool here...center forward Caroll only at his own half...City not capable of getting through that red wall...with by the way several mid-table players....Kelly, Adams, Caroll and some i forget. With Bellamy the best player of the team....says enough. Also full back tattoo duo strong part of the team. Away support very good. They had the numbers and the volume.....comparable like Leeds visiting Arsenal this week...
In Holland we never get numbers like these for away games....

What a strange forum not letting me quote...
Anyway in reply to your last post 2good
I just read that forum and they are blaming Liverpool and United fans because the ticket prices were too high.
Now just for any City fans that may be reading this now, a ticket to watch the league game vs them last week was £48 on face value which is over £10 more than what the tickets cost last night at just £37.
They also said that as it was so close after Christmas blah blah blah... no one cares any other team be it Liverpool, United, Stoke, Sunderland, Villa, Newcastle, Everton or anyone else would have sold out for a cup semi final and City couldn't. Might have the best squad (except the defence which is often suspect, but another discussion for another day) in the league but the supporters are nearly as bad as Wigans.
The term "you only sing when you are winning" comes to mind, reminds me of Arsenal fans. I know it is a while back now but I can remember very well the 2001 FA cup final, Liverpool vs Arsenal. On that day you heard the Arsenal fans for a total of 30 seconds after they scored then nothing before or after, Liverpool fans when at 0-0, 0-1, 1-1 and 2-1 were singing their hearts out the whole way through.
City fans need to learn that they need to back their squad and be heard at times such as last night when the squad need inspiration, or the players will not make a impact most of the time. Same with us when we play "lesser teams" at Anfield.

The way I see it we out played them and out smarted them. We went there last week and went the whole attacking aproach and left with a 3-0 beating.
Last night we went hammered them the first half took our lead and learned from our mistake and defended it with our lives. Some brilliant tactics if you ask me, might be a glum way of winning, having 6 in defence at one time, but a win is a win. I wouldn't say Kelly was a mid table player he just had an off game last night, very promising defender.

Christ, we beat City on their own turf, something nobody has done this season 11 V 11 and we kept them to 0 something nobody has done this season.
Sorry if it bored you all (actually I'm not ) it's not basketball.
In the first half it was all US. Joe Hart pulled off 3 brilliant saves from Carroll, Gerrard and Downing efforts. Reina had one simple save to make from a Nasri snap shot.
A little history lesson: Liverpool have won 5 European Cups and though not being around for the first 4, I'd guess there were a lot of away performances like that on our way to winning them.
The first game of 2 leg football is always boring with the away team looking to get out with what they can. The second leg will be a far more open contest.
It was the perfect result for us, and the second half wasn't all bad. Kompanys Mrs was a stunner!
Yeah hahahaha! Even I was embarrassed for them

Am I the only one who thinks that Joe Hart is the best keeper in the premier league? He's just a different class IMO, very consistent and makes top saves all the time. Most of the goals he lets in he can genuinely do nothing about.
Think that must of been the worst that City have played throughout the whole season last night, but I didn't really enjoy how Liverpool played (with about 6 defenders) but sometimes that's just what you've gotta do.
Think this must of been one of the funniest videos I've ever seen HAHAHA, it's Boris Johnson playing in a charity match. Boris Johnson for England?

Yeah as a united supporter if I could have 1 player from another team in the prem I would pick Hart. Quality keeper.

This Glen Johnson tackle really sums up why I dont really like Liverpool fans in general.
Liverpool Football club actually said that they agree with Kompanys red card and that its unacceptable...
So I guess they will be taking action theirselves against Glen Johnson?
He won the ball Mike? Haha, Kompany didnt? Doesnt matter, rules are rules and if Kompany gets a 4 match ban, as did Drogba against QPR as have many other players then why cant the FA come back and ban Johnson?
Rooneys elbow on that player last season the FA couldnt take action because "The ref took action by giving a freekick"
The ref took no action, Johnson is at least 5 inches off the floor studs up two-foot lunging challange when the City player was favourite to win the ball.
I love Lucas being Injured, and even though I like Gerrard, I hope to see him 2 footed and a leg broken. Just to see you all cry about it.
There's biasty and then theres delusion, I think Liverpool fans tend to topple over the both.
Even tho I am partially bias I would clearly appreciate that Drogbas 2 footed lunge deserved a straight red card, despite him winning the ball.
Players are not permitted to challange using two feet.
Its really that simple.

Derry what can I say... haters gonna hate.
I've already told you my opinion on this.
Rodwell against us in the derby won the ball no foul, wrongly sent off, Spearing against Fulham won the ball no foul wrongly sent off. Kompany won the ball against Nani no foul, wrongly sent off. Glen won the ball against (dunno?) no foul rightly stayed on.
If those players go in and miss the ball then they are off. That in my opinion.
These sort of tackles are reds though, cos they actually miss the ball, and they hurt!
Yet Cabaye got nothing, and scored their winner in their next game against united! And we're not crying about it trying to get him in trouble like Mancini did, who not a week ago was accusing Rooney of doing the exact same.

Cos the referee said he saw the incident and took the appropriate course of action, therefore the FA have no power to over rule it. Rules are rules...
You hate Liverpool because you are taught to hate us, the whole country hates us.
It is down to jealousy of times gone by. Most pundits, (on tele and in the rags) - who create public opinion - played during our most glorious years and spout their bitter ramblings for the rest of the country to read.

Spearo was sent off for this, and this is one of the best tackles I have seen in my life.
Even leaves a bit on the man to let him know he's in a game.

No I am the sort of person that defends things. Finds reason to defend people.
I grew up in Brighton... 50% Man U fans and 50% Liverpool fans basically and I dont dislike Man U really. But the Liverpool fans were always trying to rub my nose in it.
Man U fans accepted they were just the best team and they werent trying to give it the biggen.
But then Liverpool were always like "More throphies haha" and trying to imitate Man United... So I dislike Liverpool because of the fans. Its as if Liverpool believe they are better than everyone and deserve more in some way.
Chelsea just get on with it. We were never amazing but beat all the big teams regularly, but we never pretended to be the best whereas Liverpool fans act as if they are better, thats all.
I have felt this way since I was like 10 years old, before I could even read newspapers or watched SSN... so I havent been brainwashed, just put off by the fans.
And the point you make about the rules, I said last time, the rules are wrong and need to be changed. But considering we have morons running the country, morons running the EU morons running UEFA, it only makes sense we have morons running the FA.
