So there has been a painstaking investigation that proves it wasn't Liverpool fans?? In which case, they must have proved what was the cause yes??
If the cause is known, then your comment about people still looking for answers is redundant.
If the cause isn't known, then you can't rule out Liverpool fans being possible culprits.
The cause was the police not seperating all fans into the right areas properly, ushering many of the Liverpool fans to parts of the terrace that were already full when there were parts which were empty. Of course the police wouldn't admit the blame at the time could you imagine the stick the government and police would get for that? Nahh just shove it onto innocent victims, who are no longer here to defend themselves. The S*n have come out and apologised for the LIES they wrote about Liverpool fans being to blame and all the other sickening stuff they wrote also. There was an investigation yes, and the Liverpool fans themselves were ruled out as being the cause.
J_P you say enlighten me then you say you don't care.
Just to confirm to you in the hope this will sink in. The deaths of 96 people had zero to do with Liverpool fans. That much has already been established. If your arrogant enough to think your gut feeling is more accurate than a painstaking investigation then fair enough. I will now say no more on it as you seem unable to grasp the basic facts of the day.

Hillsbrough is a huge thing obviously, outside of Liverpool people don't seem to be botherd (understanderbly) if we held a minute silence for every disaster that has happend all over the world am sure we would be doing 2/3 every single day.
I would do a minute silence if this was Stoke yes, where to be honest I don't even know the date of the Hillsbrough tragedy.
There's a specific video on this day and the only thing you can hear is all the Liverpool fans chanting at once 'Who's that dying on the run way...' we all know how it finishes no they didn't deserve for this to happen, and there are multiple things into the reason this was caused, Police opening the gate to let people in was wrong, the fact Liverpool fans should of stoped themselfs going in when it was to crowded but people always forget that.
Also Liverpool fans just want an excuse to hate another team even more, don't care what Chelsea did just be proud to know you did your silence be proud to know your a Liverpool fan least you can hold your head high and know your proud of what your doing... You've got a London derby and for some reason they have a pathetic idea to introduce a minute silence for something that they couldn't care less about, so at the same time I know why the fans reacted in the way they did, when Fergie dies (hopefully no time soon greatest manager on the planet) but let's see how many teams give him the minute silence he deserves that he's worked hard for!

^Well to be honest they should care, 96 fellow football fans died going to the same event most of them people go to week in and week out and they should show some respect. I see no problem at all with minute of slilence for this..

As I always state in circumstances like "murderers" and Who's that dying on the runway..." It is always a small minority of the fans doing this.
I am in a way pleased Chelsea come out and criticised their fans for how they reacted, it shows tht the club know it is the minority of fans but that they know they were disrespectful, but the FA should have knew they should never have done a minute silence.
I for one would give Alex Ferguson a minutes silence because as a football fan, a fan of the sport the game etc he has done a brilliant job for it. He is a great advertisment for the game. However I can't say the same for the rest of the fans in the country especially fans of my own team which isn't nice. I wish we could all respect everyone within the game but it will never happen so lets just look at the positives from every scenario.
Piermario Morosini sadly lost his life last week on the pitch... Fellow professional Antonio Di Natale has agreed to take care of his disabled sister.
96 football fans lost their lives attending a football game in 1989 - now security measures have been stepped up and all seater stadiums are a must.
If you look closely there are positives to come from everything you just have to find them. Football is no different here, I know on here we have banter and a laugh at times and share our opinions and debate it. We never take it too far though as we all respect everyone here... including m_wood.

The only person Liverpool will not give a minutes silence too is Maggy Thatcher.
Everyone else in the world they would.
FA Cup final tickets allocated to Liverpool 25,000.
Dunno how many Chelsea are getting, probably the same number.
That means 40,000 are going to corporates. Jesus.

That is ridiculous, we got more for the semi I think.
FA have handled this cup so badly this year, first the forcing of the minutes silence in the Semi. Then putting the Final at an evening kick off when Liverpool said their fans would be stranded in London as there will be no trains on the FA basically replied that it is better for broadcasters at that time. And now the allocations of tickets is terrible.

Thats what Chelsea get for hiring a foreign woman who can hardly speak my language. Shame on you, tut!
I'd of understood Liverpools ticket tote easier and they basically speak a different language to us English folk

2 minutes added time?? Drogba spent at least 5 on the ground!!
Well done by Chelsea to steal one here. That's what Barca get for wasting 3 sitters. Only way to beat them! Same as yesterday though, Barca really only need an away goal.

Barcelona aren't even a good team. Aston Villa play better football than them, plus Ben Arfa is better than Messi.

Well done Chelsea. You'll get hammered at the Nou Camp but at least you can say you beat Barca in a Champions League semi final.
00:48 Thu 19 Apr 12 (BST) [Link]
Yeah, very good result. That's how you beat Barca. You score once from maybe 3 trips forward, then hope they hit the post twice and miss 3 more sitters haha.
I'd still make Barca the favorite in this tie.

What a miracle tonight...Chelsea wins.
Maybe once or twice in ball possession at the opponents half and still winning. Barcelona misses 2-3 100% chances.
Chelsea defending with 11 players within a stroke of 30 meters. Hardly any space over there. Would be a poverty for football if Chelsea reaches the final. In Barcelona the same blue wall will be created and if their discipline is the same as today i give them 50% of going to Munich....
Seemed a bit like yesterday....Madrid and Barca acting bit (too) arrogant...?
Looking forward to next week's Champions League fixtures.
Will put my money on Real Madrid....and Chelsea......

Well, this one is down to Barca missing 3 absolute sitters and hitting the post twice. I don't see that happening too often. I give Chelsea maybe a 25% chance of going through.

Which three sitters you reckon, whocares?
I remember the chip on the crossbar in the first half and a chance for Alexis Sanchez close to Cech. Maybe also the header from Puyol. For football in general i hope Barca will win but its annoying to see how (at least Dutch media) adores Barcelona's gameplay....
Other nice results this week....Plymouth Argyle FC is safe in League 2! What a battle that was.............still a great away support...although they have to travel the most in the UK.....

I meant the two Fabregas chances- one from about 7 yards out that he hit with his shin; the other that Ashley Cole cleared off the line (Fabregas should put that away).
Also the missed shot from 8 yards out right at the end of the game.
Those are three absolute sitters. Then add the one off the crossbar in the first half (ul) and the post in the end.
Alexis Sanchez's chance was also excellent, although the ball got caught under his feet a bit.

Thanks for the explanation. I missed the both Fabregas chances due to my travel to the fridge for a beer ;)
An away goal and this semi final was over....now at least we have two interesting Champions League matches next week....

Barca looked really poor tonight under any high ball. Not long ball but ones that came down with snow on. You could see the little uns all panicking.
Drogba was vintage today. Like a bull when he needed to be and went down when he realised the ref was buying it. Playing Ramires on the right worked really well in a defensive sense too.
It is very good to beat them though, and not to let them score. I think Barca struggled because at the Bridge the pitch is narrow. At the Campy Nou Nou the pitch is longer and wider. If their players are knackered now they will be needing oxygen next week.
0 away goals though, could be vital if Chelsea get 1 themselves.
