Yeah, so you're speculating that it was in right?
Fair enough. I'm speculating it was not in because I have not seen any picture where the ball is completely over the line. Every picture/video shows it on the line.

yeah but you can understand my arguement???? if there was a camera directly on the line then fair enough, but this camera isnt and it gives an illusion because of the angle of sight

Doesn't matter anyway. Days later and still nobody can see whether it was or wasn't a goal so the referee was 100% right not to give it.

Oh for goodness sake!
3-0 to Liverpool here... not happy!
Ivanovic has a golden oppitunity and hits the post (I have him first scorer at 25/1)...
Then we score an own goal minutes after, admittidly good work by Suarez but its an own goal as Suarez puts it accross the box (nobody waiting) but Essien decides to let the ball hit him.
Then Terry slips over which lets Henderson through and he finished well.
Third goal Carroll goes for goal (I think) but ends up being the perfect header back accross, Agger waiting unmarked just nods it whilst standing, and unbelievebly beats the 3 Chelsea players on the line. The ball goes the only place it could have gone in!
Then Nando skins up with a cute touch, smashest it from a super tight angle and it smacks the under bar and bounces down and out.
Its been a super unlucky start for Chelsea.
saying that something just happened which sums the game up...
Downing just nearly scored from a lay off header, bouncing ball, smashes it and hits the bar. Dipped loads but just not enough.
If Downing is coming close, just goes to show the game is a strange one!

Corrr, Essien just done a dodgey tackle, two footed into the back of Carrolls calf, only credit to Essien, he didnt apply pressure otherwise it would have been a shocking tackle!
Ended up scraping him.

Lol, Told you the game is crazy. Ivanovic gives away a penalty in a stupid fashion and then who steps up? Downing...
Obviously he missed.
Obviously he missed.

So we're pretty much guaranteed that 5th place spot at least then.

What a strange thing to say. Nobody said it was.
Good performance by our lads, should have been more but we stepped off the gas for some reason. Strange game, most of it was like a friendly but then it was littered with the odd horrendous tackle.
John Terry put forward his case to miss the Euros brilliantly last night. Terryble. For the second game in a row Carroll was dominant on the deck and in the air against him and Ivanovic. Where was this guy when it mattered? Where were the team!?
Meh.

Meh.Does somebody need to say it for me to give my opinion Mike?
Based on that theory then what you said about John Terry is a "strange thing to say" because nobody said he should go to the Euros.
We all have an opinion. I shared mine, you shared yours.

Dalglish where does he stand now?
He won 1 trophy that alot of Liverpool fans would say if Man United won it 'It's only a second rate cup nobody wants it'
You'll probably finish below Everton deservingly as they've had a really good season.
Stoke season did extremly well to get that far in Europe should of done more tho had the chance to beat Valencia, the League turned out to be abit disapointing as we've threw alot of points away! I wouldn't back Stoke to beat Bolton last game of the season either lol

Well people are saying JT should be captain!
What you said just struck me as a bit odd is all. Something my Bitter Everton mate would say.

Falcao puts Atleti 1 up against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League final. His second goal in consecutive Europa finals.
What a goal and what a player.

Im not for or against Liverpool. And I am definitely not a bitter Everton fan
I really should have followed up my comment by saying they didnt perform when it was needed. I didnt see last nights game but I watched the FA Cup and they were dire for 2/3 of the game when it really mattered.
I dont think JT should even be in the squad, he has been poor for the past few seasons. And if you are to believe todays papers, Roy is thinking of bringing Rio and not Terry.

I reckon he will take both tbh. If I know Roy (which I don't) he will play the old guard and fail.

Lionel Messi has reportedly been accused by former Everton midfielder Royston Drenthe of 'doing a Suarez' and using racist language when the pair played against each other in Spain.
Drenthe, whose loan spell at Goodison Park has effectively ended, is officially on the books at Real Madrid' and came up against Messi during his time in Spain.
It is there that the Holland international claims he was called a 'negro' by the FIFA world player of the year - the same word Patrice Evra said Luis Suarez used against him.
You know what bothers me so? That tone with which he always says, 'negro, negro'. I understand that 'negro' in South America is very common, but we can not stand it.
Mahamadou Diarra, my team-mate at Real, could explode if 'negro' was aimed at him. The Argentinean Gabriel Heinze and Gonzalo Higuain said it initially on the training ground, but they were stopped.
When Hercules (the team Drenthe spent a year on loan with last season) played Barcelona, during the game I had a small altercation with him (Messi). He gave me a hand in the match and again said a few times, 'hola negro'."
Uruguayan Suarez was banned for eight matches and fined £40,000 earlier this season after being found guilty of using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour in a Premier League match.
He defended himself on the grounds of cultural differences and that he was unaware that language acceptable in South America was viewed as racist in Europe.

Quiet this thread, well I suppose season is pretty much over.
Strange how we still need to relegate a team, find out the champions and the 3rd, 4th & 5th positions are still up for grabs.
Really wish Chelsea performed, if we had beaten Liverpool, for some reason I think we would have got third LOL.
I can see Everton drawing with Newcastle 2-2. I can deffinately see WBA getting a result against Arsenal and Tottenham should have easily sorted their CL spot already so they dont really deserve it! Fulham will be tough game.
Depends where the loyalties are though I guess. I dont no if Fulham will take some sort of Pineaar on loan or some compensation for losing etc. Im sure its all like that. I'm sure City have made sure they are beating QPR. I've heard the players will get double their wages if they win this game and all recieve double bonus for winning the league. Yaya is believed to be credited £550,000 wage and a £2.8m bonus. If he scores he gets another £180,000 double goal bonus. That's £3.5m for winning and scoring in one game. If that isnt motivation then I dont no what is.
Just read as well that Yohan Cabaye is on his way out. Real Madrid... end of conversation.
Demba Ba has a £6.8m buy out clause in his contract... unless he loves being pushed to the side for Cisse... can't see him staying if my guess, Tottenham make a bid.
Ben Arfa been linked with PSG as well and Pardew has said he can't turn down big offers. Could be hard for Newcy.

No chance that will happen... Specially since we're on the verge of signing one of Cabaye's old team mates from Lille who he personally recommended. (Debuchy if you're wondering).

Possible, but we could still finish above Tottenham. Also Ba will have a lot of competition there and probably won't play as many games.
Ben Arfa been linked with PSG as well and Pardew has said he can't turn down big offers.
No chance that will happen unless a stupid amount of money is paid (£30m+). Ben Arfa loves it here and Pardew looks after him.
There's been rumours about all of our players going elsewhere, which was bound to happen with us finishing so high. Pardew has made it clear though that no players will be leaving unless a big amount of money is paid, and if that's what happens, then I have complete faith in Graham Carr for a replacement.
